Xcel BODIED Daylyt.

He didn't beat Daylyt, he BODIED Daylyt.

If Lux would have came w/ some of those bars people would be going nuts.

His whole shit was FIRE, and it was crafted specifically for Daylyt ("you trade integrity for the limelight). And peep how he revealed his intelligent approach to the battle at the beginning of his 2nd. TAKE NOTES. Xcel was way nicer than Daylyt in that battle. Daylyt was entertaining and had some bars (flow crazy in the third), but he was not on Xcel's level. BTW can someone explain Day's "Incredible son type to dash" line? I don't think I'm familiar with whatever he was referencing. Also, Day had yet another TWO "Defeat" bars. Instant downgrade.

I'm just going to leave SOME of the dope shit Xcel came with here. Although there are people who are capable, it will be very hard for anyone to top this performance this year. I can't believe some of y'all just glossed over this shit.

see heres the thing tho, while he was the superior lyricist. Day was/is a better battler. Some of the shit xcel was over peoples head and while u try to diggest one line, he hit u wit 2 more over the head lines. No cape for Day but it was obvious he didnt take the battle or xcel serious and even so, his first round was way more entertaining and its how he had the crowd.

On lyricism, xcel got him. You can tell he must of been preppin for weeks on this battle, cuz while he nice, who has ever heard of him? He got that head ice og vibe that was like fuck it imma get back to the battle shit cuz he is jus a supremely talented artist. You could hear that early bad boy era black rob shit.

But at the same time, he didnt end rounds well and it almost felt as if he was jus reciting old rhynes that were on records.

I give the nod to day.

I honestly lost intrest half way cuz it almost felt like it was jus a sparring session and not real battle. Xcel had no conviction in his bars and that was another way he lost the crowd and me abit.
