"But now is Understanding risen from the ignorance, and become the first fruits of them that were unaware. For since by man came ignorance, by man came also the awakening of the ignorant. For as in mankind all die, even so in Understanding shall all be made awake."1 Corinthians 15:20-21

Question: "What happens after death?"

Answer: Within the Christian faith, there is a significant amount of confusion regarding what happens after death. Some hold that after death, everyone “sleeps” until the final judgment, after which everyone will be sent to heaven or hell. Others believe that at the moment of death, people are instantly judged and sent to their eternal destinations. Still others claim that when people die, their souls/spirits are sent to a “temporary” heaven or hell, to await the final resurrection, the final judgment, and then the finality of their eternal destination. So, what exactly does the Bible say happens after death?

First, for the believer in Jesus Christ, the Bible tells us that after death believers’ souls/spirits are taken to heaven, because their sins are forgiven by having received Christ as Savior (John 3:16, 18, 36). For believers, death is to be “away from the body and at home with the Lord” (2 Corinthians 5:6-8; Philippians 1:23). However, passages such as 1 Corinthians 15:50-54 and 1 Thessalonians 4:13-17 describe believers being resurrected and given glorified bodies. If believers go to be with Christ immediately after death, what is the purpose of this resurrection? It seems that while the souls/spirits of believers go to be with Christ immediately after death, the physical body remains in the grave “sleeping.” At the resurrection of believers, the physical body is resurrected, glorified, and then reunited with the soul/spirit. This reunited and glorified body-soul-spirit will be the possession of believers for eternity in the new heavens and new earth (Revelation 21-22).

Second, for those who do not receive Jesus Christ as Savior, death means everlasting punishment. However, similar to the destiny of believers, unbelievers also seem to be sent immediately to a temporary holding place, to await their final resurrection, judgment, and eternal destiny. Luke 16:22-23 describes a rich man being tormented immediately after death. Revelation 20:11-15 describes all the unbelieving dead being resurrected, judged at the great white throne, and then being cast into the lake of fire. Unbelievers, then, are not sent to hell (the lake of fire) immediately after death, but rather are in a temporary realm of judgment and condemnation. However, even though unbelievers are not instantly sent to the lake of fire, their immediate fate after death is not a pleasant one. The rich man cried out, “I am in agony in this fire” (Luke 16:24).

Therefore, after death, a person resides in a “temporary” heaven or hell. After this temporary realm, at the final resurrection, a person’s eternal destiny will not change. The precise “location” of that eternal destiny is what changes. Believers will ultimately be granted entrance into the new heavens and new earth (Revelation 21:1). Unbelievers will ultimately be sent to the lake of fire (Revelation 20:11-15). These are the final, eternal destinations of all people—based entirely on whether or not they had trusted Jesus Christ alone for salvation (Matthew 25:46; John 3:36).

Please bro, don't come at me w/this gentile question & answers crap....explained to me from the scriptures.... where in the bible does it state we will be placed in a "temporary" state? I read where after we die we go into the ground... from dust we art to dust we return... so i guess the LORD don't know what he talking about huh?

LOL! how is ones nationality a cult? Jesus was an Israelite (guess he was in a cult as well), your the one brainwashsed by religion (christianity, the LORD doesn't deal w/religion), your the one who don't know your history (thinking your a gentile which are EUROPEANS), you wasting your own time, because you know not what you speak!

TAKE HEED!

Matthew 15:6-8 (King James Version)

6And honour not his father or his mother, he shall be free. Thus have ye made the commandment of God of none effect by your tradition.

7Ye hypocrites, well did Esaias prophesy of you, saying,

8This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.

I have 1 question for you. What has the Lord been doing in the world since He ascended back to the Father?

according to scriptures, he's sitting at the right hand of the Father waiting to destory his enemies at THE 2nd coming.... in the mean time, it's up to us to gain salvation once we come under his blood... once under the blood, we have to obey HIS laws, statues & commandments, honor his feast days/holy days, not pagan gods holidays.... we will be judged out of the book of remembrance according to our works or lack of works.

What I was getting at wasn't mentioned in your post. But let me ask a few questions regarding your post.

1. How do you gain salvation if you have already come under the blood of Jesus Christ?

2. All the laws, statutes, and commandments are summed up by what Jesus said.

"Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. 40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets." Matthew 22:37-40

3. Where did Jesus Christ give commandment to observe feast and holy days?

4. I agree.

Also my original point in regards the question I posed was that Jesus is in heaven calling out a people unto His name, both Jew and Gentile, so that we can all be one as the body of Christ. Thus we are still living in the church age. So what have you proven by claiming that you belong to the nation of Israel when God is not dealing with the nation of Israel yet? God will not turn His attention back to the nation of Israel until the church age ends (the rapture) and then the book of Revelation will begin.

1) salvation isn't until you reach the father's kingdom, no one is saved now, the blood is there to cover our past sins once you are baptized, we can still be under the blood & still commit willful sinning-(the blood only covers our past sins, not future willful sinning) that's why the scriptures warn us that once we receive knowledge of truth after being baptized there will be no more scarifices for sin. that's why obedience is key... our actions show how much faith we have in him... Sin is the transgression of the law, if there's no law there's no sin & if there's no sin why would we be judged according to our actions?

2)lol, do you know what the means? the two greatest commandments is in fact based on the TEN COMMANDMENTS: commandments 1-4 show us how to love the LORD, not putting other gods beofore him (sun god, xmas god, easter god, etc these are pagan gods) & also included in that is #4 commandment to KEEP & REMEMBER HIS sabbath (the 7th day sabbath hasn't nothing to do w/jewsish (fake jews) or even Israel) he set the 7th day sabbath way before the nations came about.... & commandments 6-10 shows us how to love our neighbors, by not killing them, stealing from them, lying on them etc.... these are the two great laws! One half is for the LORD & the other is for our neighbor.

3) Leviticus 23- generation after generation for Israel & the stranger that follows in the LORDs way...

4) good

who says GOD isn't dealing w/Israel yet? lol...boy you need to really get some UNDERSTANDING... GOD is dealing with Israel from Genesis to Revelations..except where Paul is preaching to the gentile/europeans nations...Paul being an ISRAELITE out of the tribe of Benjamin is teaching them gentiles what they have to do to come under the commonwealth of Israel, that's why he said they were aliens (strangers) to the LORD, gentiles never worshipped the creator, they worship pagan gods (sun god, xmas god/nimrod, easter (goddes of fertility) etc,...

do you know one of the LORDs titles is THE GOD OF ISRAEL? After the LORD adopted Jacob he gave him is name which was Israel (as a nation, that's why all 12tribes are considered Israelites, Jews/blacks being the 4th seed of Jacob), edom/the jew wish people stole the identity of one tribe/Judah & turned it into a religion & has been deceiving the world ever since... you still talking about a rapture....smh.... it's a shame you have ALL this zeal for the creator but don't take heed to HIS Word....

once we start living according to how Christ lived, guess what that makes us? christians, since it only means to be Christlike..Christ went to church on the sabbath (7th day), he didn't eat unclean foods, he didn't make up stuff when he went into the church like these pastors do, he read out the book... so how come all these "scc" do the EXACT opposite?

1. No one is saved now? Are you serious? How can a person not be saved, if they have accepted Jesus Christ as their Savior? Once the Holy Spirit enters into a believer, How can that person not be saved when it is the Holy Spirit who eternally seals a believer? How can you explain this scripture if your not saved the moment you trust in Christ? “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!” 2Corinthians 5:17

2. Ok. Thats why I posted it.

3. "12 Seeing then that we have such hope, we use great plainness of speech: 13 And not as Moses, which put a vail over his face, that the children of Israel could not stedfastly look to the end of that which is abolished: 14 But their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same vail untaken away in the reading of the old testament; which vail is done away in Christ. 15 But even unto this day, when Moses is read, the vail is upon their heart. 16 Nevertheless when it shall turn to the Lord, the vail shall be taken away. 17 Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. 18 But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord." 2 Corinthians 3:12-18

4. The jews rejected the messiah and thus God set them aside and turned His attention to those who would accept the messiah, the Gentiles. The jews were thus scattered when Rome invaded Jerusalem in 70 a.d, fulfilling the prophecy given by Jesus in Luke 21

"20 And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh. 21 Then let them which are in Judaea flee to the mountains; and let them which are in the midst of it depart out; and let not them that are in the countries enter thereinto. 22 For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled. 23 But woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck, in those days! for there shall be great distress in the land, and wrath upon this people. 24 And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled."

They were no longer a nation of people for almost 1900 years. Not until May 14, 1948 when Isaiah 66:8 was fullfilled. "Who hath heard such a thing? who hath seen such things? Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day? or shall a nation be born at once? for as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children." We are still living in the time of the gentiles my brother. Jesus is still calling out a people for His name to make up His body. Not until the last trump sounds will the church age end. (the rapture)

"51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, 52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. 54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. 55 O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? 56 The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law. 57 But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ." 1 Corinthians 15:51-57

After the church age ends (the book of Revelation chapter 3), God will turn His FULL attention back to the nation of Israel. Revelation chapter 4 begins with the rapture of the church. "1 After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter. 2 And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne." (Revelation 4:1-2)

John the apostle is a member of the church and thus He is a picture of what will take place when this happens. The trumpet sounded (the last trump, the voice of the Lord) and John was taken to heaven to witness what will take place in the last days. No longer in the book of Revelation after the 3rd chapter is the church mentioned. Why? Because the church age has ended at the rapture. Now God will deal with the nation of Israel during a time He repeadelty calls through out the Bible the time of "Jacobs Trouble" aka "The Tribulation Period" aka " The day of the Lord" aka "That day" etc.....

So you see claiming that your part of the nation of Israel has no bearing at this moment in time. Even if it were true, who cares? God is calling out a people unto His name to make up His body. Both jew and gentile.

"There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus." Galatians 3:28

We are one in Christ my friend. There is no distinction. If you belong to Christ you are part of His body.

So you don't see prophecy taking place with rome & the EU?

They're the fourth beast according to the four winds of heaven by Daniel & they're the beast that's represented in revelations (the beast-rome,dragon-satan,false prophet-pope).... Rome fell nine times before & has rebuilt itself for the last time, that's why in revelations it states the beast had his deadly wound healed, because now they are back in power, they have a peace treaty of rome agreement with ten other countries & they all use the same currency (euro) they have no exports or import tax with in the agreement, they will also put their armies together to go against Russia & China when it all pops off...... it will be western europe vs eastern europe according to the scriptures...Russia will prevail since they will have a larger army....

The reason it's important to pay attention to the roman catholics is because they're the Mother Whore spoken of in revelations...(also the gentiles/europeans will be the last ruling gentile dynasty to rule this earth during the tribulation period) not only did they kill people physically (when they were forcing christianity on the people) but they killed people spritiual as welll...They brought in false doctrine, pagan traditions, false images of Christ, & everything else that's not backed by the Holy Bible..

But people continue to follow them & their religion along w/other religions as well..

2) You are right about that, everyone has fallen to their own lusts so everyone is going in the opposite direction....there's no guidance coming from the suppose "church" because their basically telling the people there's no law to keep according to the LORD so now everyone is doing what's feels good to them instead doing what's necessary of us according to the LORD.
