Heres the thing the yr Eli won the Superbowl people say hes not a leader he cant really speak up and he just doesnt have it in him then when he wins he all of a sudden is known as a leader... to be honest, i like flacco's chances just because whats around him. i mean yeah no doubt flacco can play. i prob see more of him than romo, being in the burgh.. when i say whats around him though, i'm basing that solely on ray lewis, and ed reed. for the to be so close last year, and come out that short.. i just think flacco wants to do his best, to make sure those guys get one more. as in romo's case.. i never seem to get that sense of urgency outta him. kinda like he feels one day he'll win the title, so whats the rush? i never feel like the cowboys as a team play with that kinda urgency and they do lack leadership, as matt touched on. dallas has all the talent in the world, but until they show that they want it, and are confident that they can go out and get it.. they might not win one anytime soon.

So we back on this hatin' on Eli shit again huh? Smh...Niggas just don't wanna accept the fact that he's a great QB..Acting like our team bails him out or some shit....We finished 9-7 last year, but like 7 of those wins were because of Eli coming back and covering up the defenses flaws..Our defense didn't get consistent until week 16 in the Jets game..We wouldn't even have been in that position if it wasn't for him...With Tuck, Osi, Boley, Terrell Thomas, Bradshaw, Nicks and a few others hurt all of/or some of the season he carried the team on his back until everybody got healthy....Niggas act like he was on some game managing shit when the defense finally got it together...Ya'll completely ignore the fact that he had 1219 yards passing in the postseason (NFL RECORD)..9td's and 1int while completing 65% of his passes, since niggas wanna point out stats & shit...Get at me when Romo does something like that...The Eli hate is disgusting, get back on the topic of the thread...

Nobody is saying Eli sucks but when a Qb throws 10TDs to 1int and still loses to a team with a QB who threw 6 ints in those 4 games should show you that punt blocks and Special teams had more to do with your win than the QB. When a QB loses a game throwing 4 TDs to 0int its nit the QBs fault. Eli has a pretty damn good team. Some of you act like Eli had less mistakes than Romo which is untrue. Ppl love to mention 2 bad gms Romo had but Eli has games like that all the time.

I'm not gonna argue with that, I know we have a better team, but at the same time Eli shouldn't be penalized cuz he has more help either...You acting like he doesn't get the job done the majority of the time his team needs him, that's what being a leader is a bout, fuck all the extra shit people be talkin bout about being vocal n shit....and who cares about the head to head matchup stats, it means nothing...So you can get a clear cut picture of what im talkin bout, the 1st game we played Dallas this year, we were down 2 scores with about 4 minutes and some change left....Eli drives down the field on the 1st drive in about 2 minutes to get us to withiin one score....Dallas gets the ball and on a play where Romo coulda ended the game with a pass over the top to Miles Austin and overthrew it..What happens next?? Eli like he always does, leads his team down the field for the go ahead score with about 45 seconds or some shit like that....Now don't get me wrong, Romo drove his team back down the field to with a chance to tie the game but we got a FG block...BUT, if he completed that pass to Austin, none of the other shit woulda been a discussion..It's the little shit like that that's the difference in ball games, not a 10 to 1 td to int ratio...You gotta watch the games and stop stat hunting..

i will say this. if flacco doesnt get it done, before ray ray and ed reed retire, he might be waiting for a long time.. romo still has a few years IF jerry doesnt lose his patience. i mean the guys around romo, on both sides of the ball are relatively young. our window isnt closing just yet.. but BOTH qb's need to get it done.

one more thing.. if romo wins a title, he will be an elite qb. hands down

thats kinda funny since that was only romo's 1st season as a full starter.. like people think romo has been a starter for 10+ years or something. he got hurt in 10, so i mean we're only looking at 4 full seasons as a starter in this league.
