So I just read that the G.I. Bill is non transferable, but have been told many stories about how people's children have went to school off of it. Then I was lookin it up and read that the Post 9/11 is the tranferable one. With all these choppy ass emails and commander's calls going on, can someone here shed light on this?

Shit I admit I get bother when I see people that make rank before I did but I always look at myself for not doing what I had to do. I never blame the Navy for my HYT (high year tenure). Shit was all my fault. I hear cats saying the Navy is wrong and shit like that. I always deflect it back to myself and tell them what I did wrong. Just to show them they had ample time to do something about it.
