the army is good for training niggaz how to be alcoholics

I never drank so much alcohol in my fuckin life...............now I barely drink and it ain't even on purpose

thats the thing i never had a dui ever in the army and shit the reason why they saying i have a problem is because we was coming on post at 0300 and the driver was sober as fuck but somehow a bottle that was closed but that was drank out of before is considered an open container on post man i fucking hate the army and i feel bad because my soldier gotta stand at the px with a sign that says no open containers on post in a POV

that's just like answering honestly on those post-deployment surveys..............them niggaz ain't gon give you help

but they will be keeping an eye on you tho so they can be quick to chapter you out later

bruh anybody who's been to Korea or Germant tho can't even try to front like they only had 10 drinks a case

I remember me and like 3 NCOs in Korea used to drink two cases of Mickeys every night SMH

then on the weekend we'd get chicks drunk off the soju

Man, who you telling. When I was in the Navy on those cruises, as soon as we hit land we were straight to the liquor store. Now I barely drink myself. I don't even buy liquor to keep in the house and a 12 pack will last me 2 weeks if I dont have one of my potna's come through

Superbowl 1993 over in the U.A.E. was the worst, we had been out to sea for 2 months straight and they had a beer garden for us, man, countless Heinikens and I had to be helped up the brow. SMH

Preciate you fam...my lady is just now like "I can't fuckin believe it, I need you here!" lol. Like she be crumbling without me around (clingy, I know). She said it's hard for her 2 do basic tasks and run errands and shit...I'm ready man. My seed is turning 3 about a week after we touch down also, so you know the guilt is gonna run high. She getting a BDAY party no doubt. Yo, the "replacements" came thru the MP yesterday and they gone be lost in the sauce. The NCOIC of my section was in AFG in 2010 as a SPC Door Gunner in Blackhawks with an Aviation Unit. And now he's a 25 year old NCOIC of Maintenance Logistics lmao. Gonna be a long year for him...

I'm thinking about trying out for the Air Guard...but I don't know if I want to be on no part-time Reserve status...What would be the likelihood of getting something full-time (or Active Duty), and do I have to stay in my home state? I know there's always the likelihood of getting deployed to the Middle East somewhere, but I REALLY do not want to be in this dumb-ass state anymore...If so, I'll just go Army like I originally planned...

Ima tell you the same thing I told my dude who joined the Air Guard and got a one year slot in finance.......

Join the reserves/guard with the assumption that your NOT going full time. Full time jobs are very competitive in the reserve components of every branch and assuming you'd be a non prior service junior enlisted (and assuming you have no bachelors degree), you wouldn't have the experience in a career field to be an attractive prospect.

BUT, there always exists a chance. In the Air Guard in the more personnel based jobs, there is a higher chance of a full time slot (as people always need paper work done). Also, quickly become familiar with USAJOBS.com. It can give you a rundown of open part time/full time slots in Guard/Reserves units without having to talk to a recruiter. Ive seen some baller ass jobs on there that only need someone to be a junior enlisted/junior commissioned level.

And pretty sure for alot of these jobs on USAJOBS you are required to be a resident or willing to relocate to said state.

IMO you should only join the reserve components to get your school paid for and to have your foot in the door with the military so you can be present for opportunities to go full time in the guard/reserves. Otherwise if you know with full certainty your number one priority is a liveable income with benefits? Go Active, guard/reserves is a waste of time for that (the reserves tho does make it easier to go full blown active duty if you like).
