its only a matter of time before somethin else pops off and they'll let almost anyone in again..

@DaCaliKing

i think i asked you this already, but have you thought about going national guard or reserves THEN going active duty? The guard/reserves are more lenient with granting waivers and while you'll be a reservist, at least your foot will be in the door for active duty opportunities.

Ayo what's the real deal with these TAPAS scores brehs?

@Pico Roscoe

The TAPAS is just a personality test to collect data on an individual.

and @MobTown

SHEEITTTTT tell that to the AF they kicking Officer niggas out left and right...they want those quantitative degrees like Engineering or computer shit for officers. But ROTC is always the best route though.

Navy too but like you said Engineering is big right now. On the real, I am putting my package in right now for IP officer in the Navy.

@mobtown CBRN job sounds cool on paper but when I did some googling it sounded WOAT cause you'll never have shit to do in your line of work so they'll have you doing random shit all day

@Pico Rpscoe....Human resources sounds like the best bet. The civilian applicability isn't very high BUT the civilian contracting possibilities are fairly good. My boy does HR work for the Army both as a civilian contractor and as a reservist and they constantly need people in that field. Especially with the wars winding down (meaning alot of discharge, retirement, VA claims, and SGLI paperwork)

Also, are you joining the Reserves for school? Because if so, JOIN THE AIR GUARD.

Air Guard pays full tuition. Reserves doesn't.
