Men's Rights and Abortions?

I think a simple solution would be that abortions can only occur if both parents agree on it. Since both parties knew about the consequences of having sex it would only be fair that both share the responsibility equally. Anything less would be bias and unjust. If one parent wants an abortion and the other doesn't the baby should be born and the one who doesn't should pay child support. This way each parent has equal say on the life of the baby. If the sex was consentual then deciding to abort the baby should never be a one parent decision. They should also have some limit on how many babies can be aborted. After a certain number the mother and father have to get their tubes tied.

the ideal answer is that both the woman and man get a say so and whatever parent doesn't want the child simply forfeits their parently rights at birth...only problem is for women that would cause a shitload of issues

When u say it would cause issues for women, are you talking about if the man wanted to keep the baby and the mother didn't?

Pretty much forcing her to carry and deliver a baby that she doesn't want?

or are you talking about something else?

no that's what i'm talkng about...it'd be interesting to see a woman be forced to carry a child to full term because the father wanted to keep the baby and raise the child on his own and she didn't

the contract can be overturned or dismissed by a judge if i'm not mistaken ....i read about a similar situation not to long ago. it might depend on the state though

Nope, it is a legally binding contract. My homeboy did the same thing. He made his girl sign it, and it held up in court, when she try to hit him for child support. She wasn't even pregnant at the time the contract was made, so maybe that might have something to do with it??

It also may depend on her emotional state of mind as well. Personal contracts signed while ur in a state of distress or with altered emotions can be voided.

I would laugh maniacally at a situation where a man wanted it but the chick didn't and she was forced to carry it to term. That's just hilarious to me for some reason. It would sound like sweet poetic justice to me....

but i still think that women are more responsible for getting pregnant than men. If they let a nigga go raw they dont know if your gonna pull out or not. Its like giving a drunk nigga ur keys to drive ur car and blaming him for crashing. Like "niggas you gave the nigga the keys!"

lol!!!!!!!!!!

Why do u think such?

marriage is a commitment to me. and no matter how long you and the dude been together, if he ain't made that commitment to you he shouldn't have to commit to paying for the kids.

maybe it's just me, but i don't think i'd bother a man about paying child support. partically because i don't think that money can make up for what the child really needs (( their dad in their life)).

and because im capable of providing for the child for myself.

just my $o.o2
