first off Biggie is a legend because of that flow/delievery...it's almost flawless it cuts to tape as they say,EVERYBODY gives Biggie props from Pun,Fat Joe ,Game,even Tupac before the beef said he was one of his favs to listen to so you can't discredit Biggie like he's a nobody, the way niggas rap now is how Big was rappin' in 93,94,97.

Lupe definetly has GOAT potential but he's sacred of the crown ,you heard the outro of F&L.I do think Lupe is Equal to Biggie though lyrically....Oh yeah and Lupe is NOT better than Nas !!!!

You do realize the executive producer of Lupe's 1st album is Jay Z who was shaped by Biggie right? Again you said why people put Biggie GOAT status off 2 albums as if Food and Liquor and The Cool are universally accepted Classics like "RTD and LAD" or had the impact or influence of either of those albums. Lupe has not released an ablum better than "College Dropout" yet he's GOAT status? If you ain't even putting out the best albums of your region, I don't think you can be a contender for GOAT, sorry.

Define songwriting. You mean on topic? Hit singles?...what? ...Canibus is an excellent songwriter in my opinion.

LOL, he can be alive making money, but Biggie's estate has made more money than Lupe has his whole career. A matter of fact, catalog sales of both Biggie's albums are more than both "F&L and The Cool" sold, lol and both albums are 15 years old. If he's number 1 lyrically, and by majority opinion lyrics are a major part of becoming respected as an emcee, then it would make sense that he is top 5 due to lyricism.... right?

Of course not, he's just wilin', Lupe is not hanging with the Legends, dude is reaching for the sky. Yes it's refreshing in this era to have someone as lyrical as Lupe doing it but I grew up in an era where the commerical rappers were still Lyrical so Lupe though impressive isn't like the end all be all to me cause again this era is full of weak lyricism and albums so he stands out.

^^^ I agree with. When he raps its as if he's doing it robotically and in 3rd person, but he's still nice, its the delivery that I find unusual.
