A Lil’ Kim fansite reached out to MissJia.com to talk about her desperate need for an intervention before it was too late. Popular fansite, Lil Kim Zone, is one of the longest standing Queen Bee fansites on the web and now, Rachel, one of the site’s founders, has written an open letter in hopes of staging an intervention to get some of Kim’s “yes” people out of her life and push the Queen Bee back into the spotlight.

LIL’ KIM VS. FANS: TWITTER WAR ENDS HOPE FOR FANS TO SALVAGE LIL’ KIM’S DWINDLING CAREER
My name is Rachel and I have been a Lil’ Kim fan since 1997. I have been a member of Lil’ Kim Zone since its opening in 2000.
For over 10 years, Lil’ Kim Zone – www.lilkimzone.net, has been the leading and longest running Lil’ Kim website, supporting and promoting the Queen Bee through the ups and downs of her career – from her music and film career to her 10 month incarceration in Philadelphia from 2005 to 2006 to her 2009 run on ABC’s celebrity dance competition ‘Dancing with the Stars’. As a matter a fact, during her trial, members of Lilkimzone.net wrote to the judge as a group to make an appeal – which made headlines in New York City as you can see here: http://i50.tinypic.com/14w8s1s.jpg – so WE ARE DEDICATED.
But in the past few years, fans on Lil’ Kim Zone have become increasingly unsatisfied and stressed with the state of Lil’ Kim’s career and image – most notably her lack of intereaction with fans, lack of promotion, and the endless rumors about her plastic surgery and skin bleaching. In the past 2 years, Lil’ Kim has had several lawsuits against her – including a $2 million dollar lawsuit for an undelivered album with production group Trackmasters, as well as an undelivered book with publishing company Simon & Schuster. According to Nielsen Soundscan, her last album ‘The Naked Truth’ sold under 400,000 copies and her last single ‘Download’ featuring T-Pain, failed to reach the Billboard Hot 100 charts in 2009. By 2009, she had severed ties with longtime manager Hillary Weston and owed over $1 million dollars in back taxes. Although she spent most of 2009 performing at nightclubs throughout Europe and the United States, fans were unaware of these shows due to the lack of promotion, as her official website, MySpace, and FaceBook pages have not been updated in the past year. Needless to say Lil’ Kim’s career is dwindling, and her appearance, which fuels rumors of plastic surgery addiction and skin bleaching, hasn’t helped the situation. Fans have realized Lil’ Kim’s strange behavior and negative perception to the public should not be pointed to the media, but Lil’ Kim herself, as well as her team, including her personal assistant Looch.
On Sunday, February 28, 2010, I and the co-admin of Lil’ Kim Zone – along with several other members of the Lil’ Kim Zone fan forum addressed these issues in an attempt to reach out, help, and understand her recent disinterest in her career and public image. These opinions were voiced to her personal assistant Looch, Minnesota Vikings football player Bryant McKinnie, who is a member of Lil’ Kim’s new entourage, and other Lil’ Kim associates who are undentified but can be found on Twitter. Her personal assistant Looch, shrugged off Lil’ Kim’s public appearance and ACCUSED the co-admins of Lil’ Kim Zone of TAMPERING and ALTERING pictures in an effort to destroy Lil’ Kim – which is false as these pictures can be found anywhere untouched. Bryant McKinnie accused fans of being “haters” and had two other entourage members attacking fans, calling them “haters” and made INSULTING UNPROFESSIONAL remarks which ended with “Lil’ Kim did not ASK for her fans, she made music and her fans came along”. After a long twitter battle, the co-admin of Lil’ Kim Zone announced that he would step down as the co-admin – as there is no saving Lil’ Kim.
But that’s not all. Fans contacted Lil’ Kim’s COUSIN and FORMER PERSONAL ASSISTANT Sherlish (twitter.com/BlackDiamond916) who stated within several twitter posts: “long story short she thinks good ppl are against her”, “I’m not going down with that titanic. I been jump ship have nothing to do with it don’t really care.” Several fans of the board have come to the conclusion that Lil’ Kim is being BRAINWASHED by members of her new entourage and is headed down the same path as BRITNEY SPEARS, MICHAEL JACKSON, and ANNA NICOLE SMITH with a possible drug addiction stemming from the numerous plastic surgeries she’s had in the past decade – including a recent nose revision she had after her nose collapsed in 2008.
Lil’ Kim Zone has no money interest, no personal interest or personal gain from exposing this. The fans and members of Lil’ Kim Zone’s only interest was to see Lil’ Kim at her best. Fans have worked hard for this website and are crushed at the state of Lil’ Kim’s dwindling career. We are URGING and PLEADING the media to help bring this to the public so that Lil’ Kim can get her life back together before her career and personal life loses control. Some blogs have helped us but we need more help for you!
