i talked about this in the "Jay is a sellout" thread but i think this is Jay and Ye's master plan

-Ye doing the anti-corporation thing

-then Jay turns around and does the complete opposite

-fans will be debating all summer about who is better(except in here of course)

-then they will drop WTT 2 unexpectedly and the world will explode

-followed by WTT 2 tour

end results is billions and another picture of them 2 laughing

OR...

jay is moving rocafella to an independent label away from def jam and ye and jay dropping albums to get ut of their def jam contracts.

*conspiracy theorist post*

Can't even lie though. I'm kinda excited for this with all the other wack shit that's dropped this year. If anything Jay has the capability of putting something nice together. Hope he can get a step back in his flow. Most of his recent features have been lackluster this past year and past 5-10 years for that matter but I did like the Open Letter song. He shows flashes that he still got it but let's just hope he can put it all together for a full album. I don't even care if he talks about money the whole time, I just want it to sound good. BP3 was soooo disappointing as a fan.

Ye, Cole, Wale, now Hova Da God

You forgot this guy. No wait, it's the IC, no you didn't

I did forget. Only cause he announced there was an album coming out this summer awhile ago and theres still 0 word about it.

JayZ got the marketing shit on lock. Dude been a shell of himself for 7+ years, yet dude is still buzzing.

Shout-out to JayZ for opening up business avenues for other rap artists. Now hopefully he will put as much effort into his album as he does with his new "innovative" business deals.

Btw JayZ is 43 years old. Dude is old as fuck! ... Just thought I'd throw that out there.

Lol why do niggas care how old rappers are? Only type of music where you get criticized for being old.

If Jay-Z old as fuck.... What the hell that make Keith Richards?

Niggas really out here actin like jay took kanye idea or vice versa these niggas is movin as a team! Ye prolly got a lil something on the side for his album to be like a test run or something.

I wouldnt be surprised if in 5yrs they change the business side of the game whether good oe bad

Jay is the greatest rapper to ever do this shit...

Niggas need to come to terms with it cause yo favourite rapper did a long time ago...

He can back up brag raps and the business deals with actual talent...

The reason this nigga is where he is today is cause of a talent that he utilized and continues to, too his full potential financially.

are niggas really analyzing jay commercial....what happens if none of them beats are on the album

I see what you trying to say, but whats the use of filming Jay and a bunch of top rated engineers/producers in a room amping up to beats and shit and not one of em gonna be on the final?

true but it could just be a commercial..just saying no need for folks to go overboard based off a commercial....soon we will hear the music and can really judge

Like I said earlier, you have to give JayZ his props. He got dudes in their 20's thinking 40+ isn't old anymore. Young dudes who are suppose to be setting the trend are now following an old ass dude past his prime.

JayZ is changing the rules, and these dudes are following right along. Instead of being labeled an OG, he's in the forefront. Dude is literally changing the game.

43 is old as fuck now?

for a hip hop rapper, yes.

ye is 36, that's getting up their too.

the reason it's considered old is because hip hop is such a young cultured movement, when you got dudes in their 40's telling you whats hot, it becomes like your grandfather telling you what was hot in the good ole days.....

i see Jay and Ye both rapping into their 60's...

Ye will be on his 808's shit...Jay will be rapping about all the Billions he will have by then lol

in the 80's & 90's Yea if was a young niggaz game.

But the past 8- 10 years ???

Ross

Jeezy

Luda

Fif

Nelly

Em
