Just wondering how Jay z or "the blueprint" got mentioned in a "life is good" thread..
They will always be tied to each other. Whether it's a thread praising one, or hating on one, you can rest assured that the other will get mentioned.

It's fucking sad how the Reason has clearly influenced how some of ya'll not only post, but listen to music...less than a week and you already asking if it's a classic? Let the music digest first for a couple years, see how it/if changes rap music...

an album is not the same as a car or some wine.... when i heard GRODT, i had that shit on repeat for weeks, knew it was a classic album, same with blueprint, illmatic, RD, Outkast's first 2 albums, all eyes on me, makavelli, etc..... you dude's just copy each other...... i'll re-post in 10 years and then you will agree... This shit right here nigga.... this shit right here..... classic..........

Just because you like a song today don't mean you'll love it a month or year from now...let alone 10 years from now...so yeah you gotta let the music digest...a classic makes a monumental impact on it's genre of music...just being a good ass album doesn't make it a classic...and there's nothing wrong at all with listing Life Is Good as a good ass album

When iLLmatic came out, they was calling it an instant CLASSIC

Michael Eric Dyson said Life Is Good is a CLASSIC....... HMMMMM :-?

I don't believe it takes years for people to label something a classic. Thats a bullshit excuse. imho

Were you alive when Illmatic came out? Time on the IC has shown that most people who make those comments were probably 5 yrs old when it came out

People weren't saying Illmatic was a classic when it came out?

In comparison to other rapper's albums, it's definitely a classic.

lol so you comparing it to Diggy's debut and calling it classic ?

at least i now understand your misguidedness

I don't know. It's stellar, no doubt about that, but it's hasn't even been one week yet....even if LIG's pretty much been all I've listened since last Tuesday.

I'm a Nas fan too, but I'd say give it at least six months.
