Lol we'll just have to agree to disagree. YEARS to realize Blueprint is a classic? Years? Lol

Nah cause that album had an impact that came with it. Big boy beef, Just Blaze and Ye with fresh produce, Jay on his A game and a heavy weight feature track that was an instant classic. That was his climax.

When I was listening to tracks 1-7 I thought damn, this could be a classic album. The first 2 tracks are ridiculous.

After 7 it fell off a little bit and theres some average songs mixed in with some better ones.

I think it's just a really good album.

What song do you consider average? The only average at best song IMO is summer on smash.

I thought summer on smash was by far the worst song on the cd. Um that Amy Winehouse song was kind of average to me, and although I like the song The Black Bond was pretty average for Nas I thought but I realize that's only on the deluxe edition. I bought the thing and I'm glad I did I just think people need to settle down and let it sit for a while. I liked The Stoned Immaculate more than this.

No matter what Nas do niggas cant give him credit but let that other big lipped bitch ass nigga drop a tired ass recycled verse like he did on 3 kings and niggas would be posting all kinds of goat gifs and shit. I dont understand it. you niggas get a great album and you are weary of it but pressed so hard on wtt. usmarin3 and them other fucktards up there hollerin "Jay Z spitting content on wtt yadada" Nas giving you track after track of it and you niggas standing around twiddling your dicks. The concept of life is good is living and appreciating the gift that it is. jay z tells me that 450 million dollars, cars and watch alerts are good but it takes a real man that actually been through shit to simplify life course through a simple statement. What positivity does Jay Z spit on his records to encourage his listeners. i never heard Jay Z give any brotherly advice on his records. he wont talk about how the economic downturn affected me or you because its depressing. hovi baby is sitting on 450 million and he depressed. just imagine if he lost everything like YOU and I did. he would probably take the coward way out and knock his own scalp back but Nas representing the average blackman in america at his age. a nigga getting railroaded by childsupport. a nigga getting knocked by the IRS. divorced. father of a teenage kid. aging in a young mans sport. Nas aint bitter about none of that shit. Life Is Good according to Nas. We talk all that shit about Nas but he aint never crapped out tho. Thats a real hustler to me. not a nigga who had to sell the empire that his best friend built him to be worth some millions.

premature. like your other problem your girl told me about while I was fuckin her last night.

Blueprint is cool but kinda trails off a bit for me near the end. until blueprint (momma loves me) and lyrical exercise

Shit ain't been out a week and you niggas tryin to call it a classic?

Smh

I'm starting to see why the reason diserves the hate it gets.

You niggas delusional.

"Yo son, I just gotta 2012 Camaro. Shits classic B"

What that sound like?

an album is not the same as a car or some wine.... when i heard GRODT, i had that shit on repeat for weeks, knew it was a classic album, same with blueprint, illmatic, RD, Outkast's first 2 albums, all eyes on me, makavelli, etc..... you dude's just copy each other...... i'll re-post in 10 years and then you will agree... This shit right here nigga.... this shit right here..... classic..........

I think only time can tell that but, the impact seems pretty big, so we'll see in the future.

I rate a classic by how much I want to hear it a yr later

You're right and that's the problem with people overusing the word classic.

Real Talk. One of my good friends says Trey Songz first three albums were CLASSICS... I don't ever recall him playing any of them shits lately...
