Anything is possible, but plausible is the key. Something like that would not be kept hidden very long. Then once it was found out the organization itself would expose it. There is no "code of honor" that says we will protect ANY mason despite what he does. All of those points of failure (and then some) would have to occur in order for that to be kept secret. With the beliefs of most masons being as stout as they are, I dont see that happening.

Sure satanists believe in the image, but I'm willing to bet those same people dont know where the image came from. Most people dont and they dont read enough information to find it out.

To add to that. You should check up on where this notion of masons believing in this thing came from. A man named Leo Taxil wrote an "expose' " on masonry. He used Eliphas Levi's image and it was on the cover of the publication and he (Taxil) equated it to masonry. He later PUBLICLY admitted he lied and it was all a hoax to discredit masonry. That in and of itself is where all of this came from. This is all historical fact, and can be found in print form. Now, knowing that is the case, I dont see how anyone can still place any credibility in this idea.

Its never anything like that with me. Non-masons seem to believe that we are obligated to LIE about masonry, but in reality its an obligation to keep a secret. There is a difference there that I hope you see. I'll tell you this much, before any degree is conferred upon someone, he is assured (in a nutshell) that nothing in the obligation will affect his personal beliefs, religion, moral, or civic duties.

For example, if you ask me what the 2nd degree password is, I will flat out say I wont tell you that. If you really want to know, its for you to experience for yourself. I never said Freemasons as a whole rule the world (although there is a small minority that help control the world, like the House of Windsor, Scottish Peerage & P2 Masonry). what I did say is that it is the binding glue of global order. they are at the top, middle & bottom of society. there are positive and negative Freemasons. just depends on the situation. I have relatives in Freemasonry & it helps with job placement. so the typical Freemason is pro government. not saying they bad folk, but American Freemasons usually go hard for the system. which is why it was set up in the first place. maintaining order.
