Squatting has never been my strong point.

Bench would have been better if not for performance anxiety.

Was fearful of reinjuring my shoulder.

Yeah, thats my problem with bench now. Fear of fucking up my already injured shoulders. I can get over 300 on bench but thats right where I keep it. Squatting and deadlifting are my favorites. My deadlift right around 600 now. I'm thinking about taking a few months off to let my body rest, then start fresh again.

Yeah i am going to heal up too. This performance was poor. I should have placed 2nd overall.

In the end they went with a weight to weight ration.

Guy that won was tiny titan. 5 foot 4 146 but built like bolo yeung.

I have to beat him next year.

Motivation

Dont you love it?

You ever try full depth, high bar, shoulder width (or narrow) stance for squats?

They are friendlier on the lower back than low bar or wide stance squats.

Squats used to be my weak point but now they're my strongest most confident lift.

If your lower body flexibility is good, it doesn't take too long to make the transition and dial the form in.

@Khaleesi no one else said it so imma say it...throw out the scale

Don't get hung up on numbers. Go with how you look and feel. As long as you're not in either weight extremes (extremely light or extremely heavy) then there really isn't too much to concern yourself with

Thank you baby. My husband says the same thing but it really does matter to me. If not I feel unaccomplished in a way. It might now make sense to guys but I'm sure other females can relate.

Scale doenst give one a complete info of you WHOLE HEALTH. A heigh difference place you in over or normal ,underweight.

Get out of that unnessesary pressure.

Cut out a lot of cardio, using GNC Bulk1340, shot up to 210 pounds and put up 355 twice tonight. So at this point, if I'm not doing triceps or back, I'm not really dealing with machines. Free weights are the way to go even if you're doing 8 sets of flat and 8 sets of incline.
