I mean, you shouldn't be punching the heavy bag without gloves unless you know what you're doing (not saying you don't). Not using gloves can toughen the skin while strengthening the bones, muscles and connective tissue of your hands but if you're not punching right and continue injuring yourself, it defeats the purpose.

I did this shit this morning.....

Marvin Eder Power Training Workout

Dips, Chin-Ups, Bench Press, Barbell Rows, Barbell Overhead Press, Squats, Deadlifts

Perform the following exercises on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday

Weeks 1-2: 3 sets of 8 with jump roping for 1 minute in between each set.....

i didn't do the dead lifts though.....as i was telling you before my gym is in a all girls university, so loading up the weights to do a dead lift might have been a bit much....but i'll prolly start doing it any way next week..... today is the president's inauguration........i already had my shirt off, and all these guests were walking by the gym watching me work out like i was an animal at the zoo, lol......the shit started at 11am, and i was like fuck this, let me get outta here fo somebody start complaining....

"excuse me security...there's a big black man working out in the gym with no shirt on......i don't know if he wandered in from the street or what, but we have a lot of guests on campus for the inauguration, and i think the sight of him might be a bit disturbing"

yea one of the students who used to work study in out office last year b4 she graduated, came in right when i was finishing up on the jump rope before putting my shirt back on was all like......

"wow, you've really slimmed down....i'm trying to get like you"

We wrap our hands for a number of reasons.

One big one is to pack the spaces between our fingers and palms to prevent breaking them.

Wrap your hands, if you dont know how then watch a youtube video.

Train right dude.

Limit injury and down time.

I want to look into getting some hand wraps next week. That heavy bag is such a beast, too; gonna suck not being able to hit on it for at least a week.

On the real why do people get pissed when i curl in the squat rack? what difference does it make? never understood dudes grillin me over this shit. its always those white college dudes grlling me over it too

Smh I used to curl in the squat rack back in high school with zero shame. I get emberssed a little still thinking about it. At the time I really didn't know any better.
