Bruh

Really nigga? Dont tell me that your gaydar was actvated by this lol

You know what take a 44lbs kettlebell and try to do it . Then you will understand

@Wall

I'm on that fasting tip now...hard I tell you, Did you eat meat with your fasting? I'm doing no meat, cold drinks etc, (trying) but how long did you fast?

What were your results you gained from it?...I'm doing it more so on a spiritual tip but at the same time, I would like to know if there are results physically you gain from it...where did you get your energy from to workout? any supplements?

A friend of mines said she lost 7 pounds doing the daniel fasting, (which folks say is dayum near impossible to do) but she did it for 40 days...

You got damn right I ate meat. I didn't fast for spiritual reasons though. I like to try different shit out to see if it works or not.

Back when I did the IF I just ate once a day (big meal). Didn't eat anything in particular, just how I would normally eat, but a lot of it. I did IF for a few months. Wasn't really keeping track of weight or anything, just in how my body composition changed from beginning to end.

ADF, I did that for about 7 weeks or so. Same thing, my weight dropped a lot but I was mainly focused on how my body looked. I lost around 35 pounds in that time with this. I worked out 3 days a week also.

My body is hybrid-like though, I can gain weight fast and lose it fast as well, so I tend to experiment with a lot of different things.

Idk what kind of fast you are doing though.

@Knock_Twice

I'm pretty much doing something a lil different from IF.

I started off on a diet of fruits/veggies for about a week, but shit I couldn't last, so I done added eggs and pasta and other things (waffles/pancakes) but again I'm still on no meat...chicken/pork/beef. I don't know what exactly the type of fasting I'm doing, I guess 'no meat' pretty much like the Catholics do per say.. but that's pretty much my diet, but really my goal is to not eat any meat again for spiritual purposes, I just wanted to know what type of physically affect a fasting may do to the body other than losing weight..

Good stuff

@wall

Physically it depends on what kind of fast you're doing. For you, whatever "benefits" would come from not eating meat would be your benefits. I'm sure google could tell you more about bot eating meat and the benefits.

Shout out to @wall.

I lurked in here a week ago or so. I'm on day 5 of IF fasting. Still need to improve my diet though. And find some way to squeeze in a couple days at the gym.

Just trying it out for now see how long I can do it. Just have a small snack right after 12 and then lunch at 1pm. Then dinner right before 8. Get home kinda late so if I spill over a few minutes after 8 I just tack on those minutes the next day to get it right somewhat.

I would say that to lose 7 pounds in 40 days of some damn near impossible fasting protocol isn't even worth it.

Before I started working out, I lost 7 pounds in a month, just by cleaning my diet up. At the time, most of my actual meals were ok. But I would eat chips, ice cream, and cookies damn near every day on top of that....

Feel like death. After the first set of pullups it was struggle couldnt even hack it with the chinups.. but my dips were passable..

Gonna take me a few weeks before im back on my A game my body is hurting already feel like a crash test dummy

Yeah, by simply cleanjng up your diet (without fasting) and exercising a little, clearing 5-10 lbs a month is the norm for the most part.

@wall did that kb swing change the way your body looked? n/h

@ibestrokin A KB swing won't change shit unless your diet and everything else is on point.

I am leaner though, and my conditioning is through the roof.

IF - You fast for 16 hrs with an 8 hour eating window, 20 hrs with a 4 hour eating window, etc. When I did it, I only ate once per day (around 7pm everyday) but I made sure to get enough calories in that one big ass meal. I worked out in a fasted state also. @Black_Samson did this too at one point.

ADF - You basically eat normal one day and drink nothing but water and 0 calorie drinks the next. Then rinse and repeat. I don't recommend this one for most people though. Most people haven't the discipline or will power to partake in this one. This one is literally mind over body. I've done it with no problems and managed to maintain my muscle because I made sure I worked out hard on the days I ate.

@DWO did it too but he is one of a few rare niggas that actually have the discipline and will power to power through it.

@ibestrokin

this is what I do damn near everyday lol, my body is used to it. I dont know why I never feel hungry throughout the day

I work out in a fasted state too everyday, I guess Im burning what I ate for dinner the night before
