The generation previous to us thought we was stupid too. The cycle continues.

The thing is that generation lasted for about 87-04.

This ADD generation last for 2 years tops then it's a new fad.

Anybody born in the 70's or 80's are not talking down on 80's/90's and early 2000's rap.

These migos niggas are older than me and I still hate this generation. I grew up listening to 80's rap and then 90's and up.

All these 90's kids that claim to not know Bone thugs, OutKast and etc are just clowns that started listening to hip hop 5 years ago. They were prolly listening to pop music or rock before that. don't put us in that category

Once you focus on packaging and controlling the shit for profit (corporations), everyone assimilates, the creativity, the energy dies, and you get what you got.

Realistically if you look at the cycles of black music, rap should have died down a good 10 years ago and be on par with r&b, some other new black created music should be popping, and the rest of the world should just be catching up. But the creativity is generally dead for that and the radio/media/corporations brainwashes us into "what's hot"....due to corporate backing of the artists.

I feel ur frustration but rap is a,young persons game. At high school parties they bumping migos not outkast. We can't dictate what the youth like. Kinda like us in the 90s not giving a fuck a bout krs1 when older cats tried to make us listen... all we can do is put them on to our music when they ride in the car or come over and at the same time allow them to like what they like.

My thing is the so called hip hop heads complaining but not even lookin. And also the guys who do take the craft seriously, are often skipped over by these so called heads cuz they aren't in the headlines despite having passionate core fanbases (just the net according to yall lol) whether u know em or not, I see it a lot on here, makes me wonder how niggas consider themselves heads

It just need better balance, so the search for good hip hop with a effort that you can feel and hear, is played on the radio and given the platform and promoted.

Balance. I honestly feel the newer rappers coming out are not balanced and is all on that ADD meme rap shit. I fucks with Lil Pump, Kodack, and even Tay Kay, but I don't wanna hear that shit all the time. We need newer rappers to come out to balance that. 95% of the youngest rappers out don't even try, they just ride meme lanes.

It ain't even no old head shit because y'all know I post ignorant rap and good rap, I just want a fucking balance not having niggas harmonizing on the radio in autotune on every fucking song.
