Royce has always been better than Eminem.

I don't know if I would go so far as to say that though champ.

I think Royce is perceived better than Em by US because we can relate to him and the things he speaks of better. But skill wise and the ability to put shit together (type of content aside) Em got him there. It's just all that I hate my mom I pop pills shit misses most of us.

Edit: Right now Em ain't in his prime and I think Royce is though he's close to the end of his prime now. And yes Royce outshined Em on a lot of tracks on this album though on the same note the album itself the whole bad meets evil thing isn't Royces lane any more. It works for Em but it seems forced for Royce.
