I totally agree. I never really believe an artist MUST be what they sing/rap about. If I found out that Mos Def eats pork and does coke, I wouldnt even raise an eyebrow.

I think for alot of people, Alicia Keys was an icon that represented "a positive sistah". And seeing as how sleeping with a married man is "taboo" among black women; they felt a sense of betrayal in the fact that A Keys was capable of such a thing.
