It can be the siomplest thing too like a black person can be a parent and they can love their kid just as much as Em does but they still can't fuck with records like Mockingbird simply cos it's a White person making that record
This doesn't go for all blacks on the IC some have no problem admitting they can relate and like those records and feel them but the fact is alot are uncomfortable with it just cos he white
Then at the same time most people who actually buy Eminem Albums actually purchase it are Middle Class people from the Suburbs or well off backround that know nothing about what Em Rap's about as far as poverty and growing up on welfare etc they never ever been through that but these Middle Class folk that are his fans still appreciate where he came from understand he went through that struggle and just enjoy the MUsic
But Em's most loyalist fans if we talking generally are White people that actually can relate to what he Rap's about like poverty, having no father, growing up in the hood, living in section 8, being a parent struggling to get by etc those that come from the same poor enviroment in the hood he did or they may not directly have grew up in a typical hood but still come from a poor backround those fans are the 1s that relate, feel and are his loyal core fan base but there are exceptions there is non whites like my self who have no problem acknowledging i can relate and connect to his Music cos i been through it myself

I think u think that just becuz sometimes he's on some grown man shit that we're automatically supposed to like it becuz it's Rap music and all black kids love rap music right?
Maybe you live in a box, maybe live on a cock, idk, all I know is that nobody is hating on Eminem. we just like don't like him like u do... simple as that, take it or leave it.
i know who u r tho so i hope that internship works out 4 u lmao!
Who Cares???;3859230 said:Well being that his fanbase is 99% white, that should tell you something. His skin color is the only thing he really has going for him. Lord knows you can't say his catalog because if you put it up against any true rap legend from Jay to Tupac to Nas, he'll get embarrased. He does nothing better or equal to the many rap legends that came before him. But for what he lacks in a quality catalog, quality singles, relatable stories, respectable content, credibility and impact he makes up for with a lack of dark skin.

Who Cares???;3859273 said:Ok, ok. Lets say 90-95%. Also, whats the problem with mentioning three GOATs? Eminem fans call him the GOAT, so why not put him side by side with true GOATs? Oh, because it will dwarf him musically and brighten the reality that duke is as below average as it gets.
Skepticxl;3859263 said:I'm going to get a lot of flak for this, but, in my humble opinion, the rappers that you mentioned, particularly Nas, seem to sound the same and it becomes monotonous. Eminem has different accents, flows, styles, in every single one of his albums. I can't listen to a lot of Nas at one time, as good as he is. It just ends up being boring to me. To each his own though.
The only thing is that I'd wish y'all would get off of the white shit. It gets fucking old. I don't like Eminem because I'm white. I actually used to think he was that same "mainstream, only appeals to white teenage girls" that seems to be the sentiment of many of y'all here. Until I really started to listen to his music for what it is.
hlf;3859282 said:Are you bothered that he has uneducated rap fans that thinks he's the GOAT? Seems like it, otherwise you would compare him with the likes of Jim Jones or Camron since you think he's below average lol
Bigavelli;3859293 said:That's my point if it was a Black, Latino, mixed whatever backround making the exact same Song's i love from Eminem like Rock Bottom, Superman, Sing For The Moment, 8 Mile Road, Mockingbird etc i would love those Song's just the same regardless of the skin colour or religion of the Artist making them

Who Cares???;3859307 said:Come on homie. How can I put him alongside Capo and Cam? Neither rapper has had anybody refer to them as a GOAT. I seen a number of top ten of all time list that had eminem on it. Why? I honestly can't say. However, when he starts being referred to as one of the greatest, then it's only right he gets compared with those who share the labeling.
