And that's the thing. If Zoe Saldana had skills like that then I think people might be able to look past this. Like in your Denzel/Malcolm X example, Denzel may have been darker than Malcolm was but he could really act and he not surprisingly killed the role. People still talk about how him not winning the Oscar for that role was a robbery.

You all know damn well movies with leading black actors sell less than movies with leading white actors. And that's a fact.
