My opinion is always credible b.I'm not a sheep Im listing What I think are classics

Illmatic has 9 songs wit 5 of them being good and has dated production its not a classic

Untitled, nastradamus,I am,distant relatives were utter trash

Iww,hip hop is dead and life is good are all average albums with 3-4 good songs on each

Groupies go head and catch feelings and flag this

Who knows if he's capable of dropping another classic. If his previous work is any indication then it likely wont happen. Shit dont have to be classic anyway, LIG is not a classic but it damn sure is a dope album and thats all us fans should want from Jay anyway. The King Of New York shit will be argued forever and their will not be a clear cut winner.

Nas classics

illmatic

lost tapes

it was written

Life is Good..

Jay Z classics

Reasonable Doubt

blue print 1

American Gangsta

Jay and Nas are opposite each other when it comes to music content..

Jay couldnt make a illmatic

and Nas couldnt make reasonable doubt

I realized that both artist are in their own lane..

and I appreciate that about them..

shit would be wack if everybody sounded the same..

Of course this is standard procedure from the living GOAT.

IMO Nas got 2 classiscs

Illmatic

Stillmatic

Jay got 4

Reasonable Doubt

Black Album

The Blueprint

AG

Lost Tapes is not even an official Nas album. I don't count that in my opinion Nas has two classics (Illmatic and Stillmatic) and a few near classics (It Was Written, God Son, Untitled, Life is Good)

I don't think Jay has to worry about what Nas is doing and if Jay does drop a dope album it wouldn't be because of Nas dropping LIG.

I want to see jay-z carry majority of the album by himself and limit feature artists to roughly three.

Jay proved he could carry an album on his own (black album)

That was supposed to be his " last album" that was 2003 ,so he wanted a proper send off.Today people want to see if he still has creative mind state left to do.

I think Jay has 6 good quality albums and in that is like 2-3 classics.

Nas has like 8 good quality albums with like 4-5 of those classics...

But, they are both different artists. Jay's music is more geared to the mainstream as it's always been. That's where Jay's albums have suffered and excelled I think. I will say that only Jay could take songs like Big Pimpin, Give it To Me, Girls Girls Girls, and Excuse Me Miss YET still be listed as one of the greatest? If Nas made those same songs, he woulda been crucified. Jay, however makes that work. Jay has more "pop" sense than Nas does.

I don't mind hearing bragging rap from jay, thats what he came in with. If he mixes it with social commentary and personal tracks i'm fine with that

did mumo just say that his opinion is fact?

jay z will always do good numbers. and ppl will always support him. now with that being said....

he hasnt put out a strong album since the black album

WTT was horrible
