There are still good rivalries: MAVS and Spurs, Knicks vs Heat, Boston vs LA, Magic vs Boston,

NFL has few also and most of the rivalries are in the same division ex: GB vs Bears, Giants vs Eagles, Giants vs Cowboys, Patriots vs Jets, Steelers vs Ravens, the nfc west didnt have a team that finished the season with a .500 record.

... The NBA doesn't suck. It's not what it used to be. It not as entertaining as in the 90s, but NFL and the MLB was the greatest in the 90s as well. As a fan since I was a young kid, I gotta disagree with you NBA doesnt suck. Your reasons don't prove it.

NFL doesnt not have the highest ratings in the world. It's soccer.

-Too many games. Imagine if the season were only 32 games long. Players would actually have to put some effort into the games and actually care about winning! It would be more competitive, players might actually attempt to play defense and hustle.

-Too many teams. Oklahoma, Charlotte, Toronto...LOL.

-Too many shitty teams, only a few good teams. Simply not enough talented basketball players to fill out that many rosters. What we're seeing now is a few dream teams like the Celtics and Heat, and then a bunch of development league level teams.

-Few good rivalries. I mean how many good rivalries have their been over the past 10 years? Only a handful.

-Players switching teams too much. Hard to stay a loyal fan of a team when your favorite players jumping sides every few years. The league should implement some sort of Franchise Tag situation. It's too devastating for a team to build around a certain player for 5+ years only to have them leave and get nothing in return. Franchise tag would put an end to LeBron-type players leaving their teams in the dust. Worst case, teams tag players and then trade them, getting something decent in return.

-Overpaid players = lazy, fake injuries, little effort, Vince Carter syndrome.

L.A still loves Basketball because of the Lakers. Boston likes it. A few other places. and the rest of the country dont give a fuck no more.

the last 10-20 years there weren't many super teams so much as teams that played well together. (spurs pistons, early lakers)

The NBA doesn't suck what I mostly hate about it nowadays #1, the refs. There the only sport, well them and baseball, where they think people actually pay to come see them T up the stars or throw them out. Plus they call to many tacky tack fouls. Which gets me to my next problem. I've always hated the fact that you can't hand check anymore. IMO it's taken away some of the phyicality from the game and has made it somewhat "soft". When someone is driving the lane and a center does his job and puts him on his ass to protect the basket, it's a falgrant 2 and you're out for the game. I'm sorry I'll never get used to that. That's just soft bullshit. I guess they what to make the game more globally appealing but I hate that shit.

Lets be honest, the outcomes are predictable in too many cases : That is very true LA, Boston, Miami and a few other teams are very predictable that one of these teams will win but let me ask you this what would you have done with a NYJ and CHI superbowl cause we were very close You can't tell me that when the Seahawks and Cards made the Bowl it didn't loss some luster

The Bucs and Panthers have both been to the SB in the past 10 years, and the Bucs won it. Don't let the recent Jags cloud your memory. The Jags used to have a legit ass defense, and really strong running game. They were a legit team, that could run with most teams in the league. And the Seahawks were legit when they went to the SB. Hasselbeck and Alexander were legit. Alexander may have even been league MVP that year. I don't think people were mad when the Cardinals went to the SB cuz they had a high scoring offense, and made for a real good game. You're talkin bout those teams like it was the 2010/2011 Cards and Seahawks that went to the SB.
