Murder your self i didnt read after the first line..

FOH your regurgitating talking points of.."back in my day" two handed chest pass ass motherfuckers.. The NBA is different period.. its been typecasted and stereotyped and its been gobbled up.. Many people felt that when MJ retired the NBA died.. thats a Casual fan.. The globalization of the game also made it Different.. its no less than it was before.. nostalgia is a bitch

c/s...NBA is the second most popular sport next to Soccer

Every thing that you said about the NBA I can say about the NFL

You can't tell me that people care about the Jaguars or the Panthers or the Texans

The fuck? Cant be serious....

according to this dum ass..

THE NBA SUCKS because

-too many teams

-too many games

- too many shitty teams

- few good rivalries

-players switching all the time

and

overpaid players

The NBA and MLB HAS 30 teams

THE NFL has 32 teams..... so does that mean the NFL sucks?

he complains NBA has 82 games the MLB has 162 games....... so does that mean MLB suck too?

too many shitty teams. every sport has shitty teams. NFL had 13 teams that didnt even win 7 games in the season. thats almost half of the league

I understand the few good rivalries

There are still good rivalries: MAVS and Spurs, Knicks vs Heat, Boston vs LA, Magic vs Boston,

NFL has few also and most of the rivalries are in the same division ex: GB vs Bears, Giants vs Eagles, Giants vs Cowboys, Patriots vs Jets, Steelers vs Ravens, the nfc west didnt have a team that finished the season with a .500 record.

... The NBA doesn't suck. It's not what it used to be. It not as entertaining as in the 90s, but NFL and the MLB was the greatest in the 90s as well. As a fan since I was a young kid, I gotta disagree with you NBA doesnt suck. Your reasons don't prove it.

NFL doesnt not have the highest ratings in the world. It's soccer.

-Too many games. Imagine if the season were only 32 games long. Players would actually have to put some effort into the games and actually care about winning! It would be more competitive, players might actually attempt to play defense and hustle.

-Too many teams. Oklahoma, Charlotte, Toronto...LOL.

-Too many shitty teams, only a few good teams. Simply not enough talented basketball players to fill out that many rosters. What we're seeing now is a few dream teams like the Celtics and Heat, and then a bunch of development league level teams.

-Few good rivalries. I mean how many good rivalries have their been over the past 10 years? Only a handful.

-Players switching teams too much. Hard to stay a loyal fan of a team when your favorite players jumping sides every few years. The league should implement some sort of Franchise Tag situation. It's too devastating for a team to build around a certain player for 5+ years only to have them leave and get nothing in return. Franchise tag would put an end to LeBron-type players leaving their teams in the dust. Worst case, teams tag players and then trade them, getting something decent in return.

-Overpaid players = lazy, fake injuries, little effort, Vince Carter syndrome.

L.A still loves Basketball because of the Lakers. Boston likes it. A few other places. and the rest of the country dont give a fuck no more.

you killed your whole argument the second u typed that bullshit bolded above.
you simply aren't a fan of the sport, thats cool, but u sound like a fairweather fan who is mad because your team isnt reaping the benefit of all these superstar signings.

btw the celtics used that formula and won once.
the last 10-20 years there weren't many super teams so much as teams that played well together. (spurs pistons, early lakers)

portlands super team lost to the lakers
the lakers super team wit gp and malone lost to the pistons

The NBA doesn't suck what I mostly hate about it nowadays #1, the refs. There the only sport, well them and baseball, where they think people actually pay to come see them T up the stars or throw them out. Plus they call to many tacky tack fouls. Which gets me to my next problem. I've always hated the fact that you can't hand check anymore. IMO it's taken away some of the phyicality from the game and has made it somewhat "soft". When someone is driving the lane and a center does his job and puts him on his ass to protect the basket, it's a falgrant 2 and you're out for the game. I'm sorry I'll never get used to that. That's just soft bullshit. I guess they what to make the game more globally appealing but I hate that shit.

Bro you just hating, the Chargers can't even sell out the stadium with a great QB. Don't act like the NFL is perfect. The bottom line is that football not the NFL appeals more to the every day man because it takes more skill to be in the NBA. You can be a 300 pound fat guy running around and be considered a great athlete. The NFL is not bigger than the NFL in New York or LA. It's kind of like politics Democrates vs. Repulicans where the bigger cities like Dems but the Arkansas, and Kansas, of the world you get the rest.

But you can't tell me that the NFL needs the Jags, Texans, Panthers, Tampa etc I mean there are countless ones

Bad Calls LOL you can't tell me the NFL doesn't suffer from this just as much, the whole lets just throw it up and get pass interference, the hits to the head the I grazed a QB add on 15 shit. I love the NFL but it really has gotten to a point where you should just throw it up every play to a reciever deep and hope for PI

Lets be honest, the outcomes are predictable in too many cases : That is very true LA, Boston, Miami and a few other teams are very predictable that one of these teams will win but let me ask you this what would you have done with a NYJ and CHI superbowl cause we were very close You can't tell me that when the Seahawks and Cards made the Bowl it didn't loss some luster

The Bucs and Panthers have both been to the SB in the past 10 years, and the Bucs won it. Don't let the recent Jags cloud your memory. The Jags used to have a legit ass defense, and really strong running game. They were a legit team, that could run with most teams in the league. And the Seahawks were legit when they went to the SB. Hasselbeck and Alexander were legit. Alexander may have even been league MVP that year. I don't think people were mad when the Cardinals went to the SB cuz they had a high scoring offense, and made for a real good game. You're talkin bout those teams like it was the 2010/2011 Cards and Seahawks that went to the SB.

the main problem is the obvious fixing of games and Stern changing the game to where you cant play any defense. Its now a wing player oriented game. Also players flailing and flopping like bitches to get calls instead of competting. I hate players leaving so quickly once they are free agents instead of building a team/playing together to get over the hump instead of jumping ship as if rings are obligated to players

Cosign the bolded. Can't cosign the rest of it because it's their life. If they want to leave, it's cool with me. Let people live their life the way they want to.

WRONG.

You are obviously an idiot. Why does everyone insist on comparing NBA to the NFL?! They are two totally different sports.

The NFL can easily fill 32 teams with talented players. The NBA obviously cannot. That is the major difference!! So just because it works in the NFL, don't automatically assume it's "okay" for the NBA to be the same way, because it's not the same sport.

he complains NBA has 82 games the MLB has 162 games....... so does that mean MLB suck too?

Uh, YEAH! Baseball PLAY OFF games get destroyed in ratings by a regular Sunday Night Football games between two medicore teams. What does that tell you!? No one gives a fuck about baseball or basketball anymore.

too many shitty teams. every sport has shitty teams. NFL had 13 teams that didnt even win 7 games in the season. thats almost half of the league
Record doesn't mean everything. The Browns beat the Patriots and some other good teams. The Cowboys made a comeback after coaching changes. etc.

I understand the few good rivalries
There are still good rivalries: MAVS and Spurs, Knicks vs Heat, Boston vs LA, Magic vs Boston,

Zzzzzzzzzz nigga just shut the fuck up already. You will NEVER will an argument with this NBA vs NFL shit. Dont even waste my time.

Yes. The NBA does suck. Perhaps you're standards arent as high as most others. Perhaps you are entertained by a bunch of lazy players half-assing their way to a paycheck. Most people obviously dont agree with you.

NFL doesnt not have the highest ratings in the world. It's soccer.

WRONG.

NFL is a league. Soccer is a sport. Once again you're comparing apples to oranges.
