Patrick Willis is a top tier LB, Calvin Johnson is a top tier WR, Deangelo Williams is a top tier RB, Larry Fitzgerald is a top tier WR...these are players on bad teams that can go to the best teams in the league and be the starter. The spurs are an example of the same team on top year after year after year. I said in an earlier post that the West has only sent 3 teams to the finals since like 1999 I think it was. Lakers, Mavs, Spurs. And the Mavs were just 1 of those years. The other 11 years were Lakers and Spurs. Since 1999 the only championship winners were the Lakers, Heat, Celtics, Spurs, and Pistons. This year 4 of those teams are probably still the favorites (not the Pistons). 12 years later and it's still the same story. That's a competitive league to you?
oh okay because i'm sure blake griffin can start on any team, so can kevin love, danny granger, steve nash, rudy gay, zach randolph, tyreke evans etc. so whats your point? the nfl and nba are built differently its a lot easier to win a championship in the nfl than nba but it doesn't mean that nba teams dont have to put in work to win every year and until last season no team repeated in the nba.
