Yep, he does sound like most of these other dudes out here. Like when I heard Is it called Nobodys perfect? I didnt know who it was cause he has no distinctive sound. It just sounded like another of the same sounding dudes out now. Not hatin but I agree with your assessment. When people hype rappers up too much and they aint spectacular, theres a backlash. And people support those that are hated on as long as they like the music.

It's not like Cole came in the game like 50 Cent dissing everybody and their momma. Cole didn't enter the game like Kanye all cocky and arrogant. He's been humble (for the most part) and he makes good/solid music.
Cole gets the same love from his audience that any other young upcoming artists gets (K.R.I.T, Kendrick Lamar, Lupe etc) but Cole supporters gets hate for giving him props. Because according to them any kind of props is considered "overrating Cole"
