That's just for the fakers who don't know real talent when they see or hear it, they need to be told by the media whats real or not instead of knowing real quality through intuition. That's not I. Many quality artist I was checking way way way before they became popular. I'm listening to that new nigga Jedi Nemesis because that nigga sic now just as I was listening to DMX, Lupe, 50 and so many others in the beginning when they were unknown and hot as hell. Get a clue trick!!! Real hip hop all day

So, you promote for Jedi Nemesis huh? Lol, that's cool. But most niggas just like to talk shit and be opinionated without basing their opinions on experience, fact, or common sense. Just the way niggas are...

maily because most of the fans these days don't know the difference between real hip-hop and commercial rap and are too hard headed to listen to someone who tries to school them on it. Just how it is. times changed and expectations are much different.

Really have. alot of the time i have the confused face with what considered good. I mean everyone cant be the same but damn! there was a time when most were good and some were ok but now it seems like most are not good and a small few are good...

I promote what I like and frankly I just heard of him on this very site the other day but the qaulity was live and i been looking for the song for a few days and just found it today. Shit I'm excited, gave me hope. Just as I was hyped about 50, lupe and DMX way back when, Someone new and good come along I find everybody better recognize because I'm letting ya know because I'm tired of hearing about all this media fed garbage on folks aint about shit.

That's a very valid point you made too! Especially from what I've been seeing. I do remember a time when it was either you were good or not and everyone instantly knew but now its like people go with the masses.

You're right on that! The corporate labels have so much control on the media and stuff that you do have a hard time sorting good from the other, they dont even promote artist properly anymore unless they crazy big. They control all the crazy stuff we see and determine whats hot when we all know damn well they not! Before you know it everyone brainwashed into the diluted stuff because we cant find the real people to choose from.

Everyone likes what they like. Just because you dont doesnt make them wrong. Let the brainless be brainless.

A dictionary doesn't meet the expectations of a great short term revolving door rapper artist but I can imagine it makes a great long term hip hop artist and they are getting very rare. The original art is becoming far to watery. I have no issue with fun music or variety but come on... we live in an age where knowledge is still power and authenticity can never be denied. Don't bring me that bull 24/7.

if you hate the media so much don't watch tv then

I'm years ahead on this. My TV watching is very very very limited but its not about that its about knowing real vs fake and I'm starting to believe when it comes to hip hop people have gotten so wrapped up in what they are being fed they cant even tell anymore what the real stuff is. Hip-hop is defined to me about authenticity and many of these "RAPPERS" who claim it dont have a ounce of this trait . They more like actors. Yeah, I'm gonna start calling them "actors" instead, makes it more clear because they throwing the term hip-hop and rap around so loosely.

yeah i see what your saying but some of its done for entertainment not everyone wants to on that oh go against the machine attitude some it's done to have fun and party. a lot of shit out yeah its dumb but its more dumb for people to even put that as hip hop most of this shit ain't rap its club type shit, if anything if you wanna listen to lyrics over shit like that then check out underground, i just don't like when people say oh those people killed hip hop blah blah blah no they didn't. times change so does music nothing stays the same plus if you hate mainstream don't listen to it don't listen to the radio

I see but I can also understand why you got tired of these people mentioned. I don't have an issue with Lil B the based god if that who you like, we all have fun rappers. I'm just saying people need to recognize when real stuff come along and stop pushing the fake stuff so much like damn! Everyone getting very confused on what the essence is and why it must be preserved or it wont exist anymore. Rock still rock from years and years and Jazz still and will always be Jazz, so as classical music but Hip-hop well its disappearing. We have Actor Rap, Pop Rap and numerous others.
