Why Did PAC Beef With NAS and JAY?

There predicament now is nothing to do with Pac, they dropped albums straight after Pacs death that went multi platinum, and not just 1 but several your delusional, Mobb Deeps career blossomed after Pacs death commercially.

And your a fool even Nas wasn't going 6 times platinum back then so what makes you think less popular artists like Mobb Deep would, even Pac wasn't selling 6 million before All Eyez On Me dropped.

P career been a big L after that diss...just look at him

that nigga on the rocks, even 5o in his prime with the help of dr dre couldnt save him

I feel the L.O.X. and Mase do count because they where on Bad Boy in 1996 when Hit 'Em Up came out. Pac said "As a staff record label and as a muthafuckin' crew and if you want to be down with Bad Boy then fuck you too". Sheek Louch said they recorded a response track. Jada says in this video that Pac never dissed him directly but I felt he did indirectly.

Sheek talking about it around 1:55

That has nothing to do with Pac, very few rappers have the longevity to be moving millions of units in 96 and then go do it in 2010.

You think if Big Daady Kane dropped an album now he would sell major units, no its part and parcel of being a rapper fans are fickle.

But your argument makes no sense because if the diss really affected Mobb Deep that much then wouldn't you expect them to start flopping soon after Pac died, i mean they dropped albums through out the late 90's that went plat, so it took years for fans to finally hear hit em up, and stop buying prodigy records cause Pac dissed them? gtfoh,

careers ended up floppin some sooner some later....minus BIG

I don't feel that was a result of Hit 'Em Up. P got more heat because of the Jay-Z thing then the Pac thing because Pac never really said his name. Pac said "one of you niggaz got sickle cell or something". Jay just totally singled him out. And then Infamy came out with that 112 song and Prodigy's changed flow people said they soldout. Lil Kim fell off because she's a crazy bitch. Puffy doesn't write rhymes he writes checks (only for himself) and ran all his good artists off. He went from The L.O.X., Mase, Black Rob to Loon and Da Band. Junior Mafia as a whole was only good because B.I.G. who wrote all the ryhmes. Of course B.I.G. passed away which was terrible and tragic.

i know dog, but Hit'em Up was fresh at the time, it was a first..all the other disses that came after never got that much publicity compared to Hit'em Up

All the rappers mentioned on Hit'em Up careers flopped...Pac fucked up Mob Deeps shit (yea they had a little success, but P forever been gettin dissed for that shit pac said to him), I feel if Pac never had gone at MOB Deep they would have had much more sucess than they ended up having... and Chino XL aint even get a chance to start his

As mentioned before this is false on so many levels. Chino XL career was affected but his career wasn't that Big anyway. Mobb Deep dropped "Hell on Earth" a month after Pac died and it still almost went Platinum (Certified Gold) and Murda Muzik went Platinum cause of the success of the "Quiet Storm" Remix which featured Lil Kim. Speaking of Lil Kim, her album dropped 2 months after Pac's death, went Double Platinum. Shit Lil Cease Solo album almost went Gold. Bad Boy ruled the charts in 97 and on the 1 year anniversary of "Hit Em Up", "Ill Be Missing You" was ruling the charts for 11 weeks as well as "Life After Death", "No Way Out" and "Harlem World". Jay Z's "Takeover" had more effect on Mobb Deep's career than "Hit Em Up" did. Pac took the Jay Z diss off "Hit Em Up", well look at Jay Z's career since that Diss came out. This is why I always said "Hit em up" though a Classic Diss didn't really affect anyone's careers when you look at it.

Well there have been interviews where Ma$e said without Biggie he wouldn't of had a career since Biggie gave him his 1st check. So if Pac is his favorite rapper, that's his opinion, I don't think it's an insult to Big. Ma$e has said on many occations that Biggie is one of the greatest.

i think 99% of bad boy artists say BIG is the greatest

mase is one of BB most successful artist and for him to say Pac is his favorite rapper on many occasions since 98 is crazy to me.

Big put food on his plate, pac aint lol
