Why Did PAC Beef With NAS and JAY?

Nah, you really can't say that. Pac was way to smart to be beefing with rappers for much longer. He focus would have surely transcended to Suge Knight raping him out of millions of dollars. Jay-z legacy is waaaay to strong to deny it due to one rapper. Pac was that dude, but let's not put him in a suit and bleach his skin color...

Put it this way if Pac were alive, BIG would be alive...Jays career would have spanned out way differently

add to the fact different rappers would have been put on, deathrow east, one nation project etc....

Jay profited out of their deaths more than any other rapper, they were his blueprint.

Rappers like Ja and DMX would never have got put on, they were signed due to Def Jam looking for another Pac to fill a void.

Hov would never have songs like Can I Get A, or be quoting his dead niggas lyrics

and as history shows Jay cant seem to be friends for very long, BIG and his friendship would have never lasted...

I think the whole but they went platinum argument is flawed. Niggas fail to realize that this is before the internet was apart of our everyday lives. Music wasn't as accessible in certain regions. I'm from Dallas and all my niggas were pac fans, but they had the big albums too because that was the only way they would hear a rebuttal. The same with Mobb Deep. Back then people brought cd just because they were on the shelf. 50 started all of this sales shit. That's when niggas started talking about flops and successes when it comes to sales. Name one nigga that was talking about soundscan shit back then.

GOAT Post...

its the the butterfly effect

if pac were alive, if big were alive...we'd be lookin a different rappers and the game would have taken a different course

Funny thing is, the album before AEOM was Me against the World. That sold 2x Platinum. Funny how the album that dropped the year he died, AEOM, went 9x. I guess it was one big coincidence.

Pac would have sold more if he were alive,

dying only helps u shift albums for a bit, after it gets harder..pac died in his peak and he did huge numbers for a solo artist while alive

ur better alive being able to promote ur album and to create new controversies

he sold 6 mil with AOEM while alive

Makaveli sold 3 mil, he was unable to promote that and shoot a video for Hail Mary, which he planned too

if he had been alive he would have done the same numbers or better, he was right at his peak, everything he dropped was going to do millions...

one thing he never got a chance to do was go promote his shit internationally, which would have meant more record sales.

another thing is while AEOM was out and still gettin played heavily on the radio, pac was already finished with the makaveli album, he told shock g "fuck that shit, listen to this new shit"...like all eyes on me was still poppin and this nigga has a new album completed...

he was on fire

For a Pac groupie, you sure DON'T know your shit. First, Pac release four albums before he died. Next we have the domestic breakdown of pac album while he was breathing

2Pacalypse Now - Gold
Strictly for my N.I.G.G.A.Z - Platinum
Me Against the World - 2x Platinum
AOEM (The year he signed to one of the biggest labels around and succumbed) - 9x platinum

Now Jay-z (first four albums)

Reasonable Doubt - Platinum
Vol 1 - Platinum
Vol 2 - 5x Platinum
Vol. 3 - 3xPlatinum

Now, you take away AOEM, which may have "benefited" from Pac getting out of jail, signing to a powerhouse record label and dying, and the numbers are quite interesting...
