Which old school classic was better... "I'm a Ho" vs "Freaky Tales"?

People were getting subs and amps in their cars & mini trucks to bump Freaky Tales. That song was a requirement in the car cruising scene back then. Trust me I was there. I'm a Ho is a nice song but Freaky Tales was a phenomenon nation wide.

That and Dope Fiend Beat.

Back in the day Dope Fiend Beat without a Folsgate and some 15s was uncivilized....

@ the bolded. Don't use that word "nationwide" loosely. People weren't feeling Too $hort on the East Coast. We thought he rapped too slow. I hindsight I like Freaky Tales now but at the time I wasn't feeling it.

My vote goes to I'm a Ho.

Bruh, I was back and forth in NYC when this was out. Niggas with cars fucked with Freaky Tales and a couple of MC Shy D songs bcuz of the bass. They didn't fuck with the rest of the tape tho.

West Coast,Down South. Midwest. I heard Freaky Tales a lot in Ohio, Detroit and Chicago. That's nation wide to me. Even military bases in Germany were bumpin Freaky Tales.
