Biggie had better verses than Jay-Z on "I Love The Dough".

Also Biggie didn't get outshined on "The What" even Meth admitted that.

Big got outshined by both Red & Meth on "Rap Phenomenon" without a doubt.

Life After Death could have been a classic if it was a one disc. Too much filler on the second disc and a couple just above average tracks on the first.

Huh? it only has two fillers...an intro and a interlude...everything thing else bangs on LAD..19/22 is not a classic???? it's the GOAT double Disc

that came out wrong..i meant to say it has 24 tracks...with the intro and interlude taken out...that makes 22 tracks. it does have 2 fillers...(Nasty boy and Playa Hater) and i will also even give you Another (joint wit Kim)..that makes the CD 19/22!!!! thats not a classic to ya'll???

AEOM and Wu-Tang Forever >>>

Playa Hater, Nasty Boy, Going Back to Cali, Another, Fuck You Tonight, etc.. all could have been done without.

Not musically. Classic albums don't have 9 less than stellar tracks.

LAD is the greatest double hip-hop cd ever, Biggie went in on that cd.

You think MATW is better than Ready to Die?

by a mile

rtd is a good album, with a couple of skippable songs, it had to much miss direction going on, with puff trying to push biggy into soft pop ballads and big trying to push his dark twisted side, the album was a little confused.

artistic conflict

LAD is a good album, but it does have many fillers and hasnt aged as well as AEOM

again Puff and BIG had artistic conflict

i think if BIG had been left to do "what he wanted to do" his music wud have been way more hardcore, puff was always incharge

MATW is a classic album but its not better than RTD. Another thing RTD made a much bigger impact in hip-hop.

aeom made a even bigger impact. so whats ur point?

i feel MATW is a solid album from start to end, with many timeless classic songs and it has way more substance than RTD,

RTD is a mix up of classic songs and then miss direction, Puff and Biggy did not see eye to eye on certain songs and it shows on the album.

I prefer the personal touch on MATW as oppose to mixed vibes you get from RTD

If you really break it down, RTD is half Biggys album and the other half is Puffs, and the sad thing is puffs half was the reason why the album was a major success

lol! So you're saying AEOM made a bigger impact than RTD???

MATW is dope but RTD had storytelling for what its like being in the hood, Biggie took his experiences from his early life struggles and painted a picture with it on RTD.

Yup...by a long shot, thats common sense,

Pac is mainly known for AEOM than all his other albums, 5 plat under 2 months, any album that does those kind of numbers ( while he was alive) is a major major success.

People can argue all day if MATW is better than AEOM, but success wise, AEOM is in a different league.

AEOM made Pac the biggest name in rapmusic, u take that album away and Pac wud not have gone on to have the success he had, even after death.

Dre, Snoop, DPG, Nate and Pac on one album, was going to have a huge impact
