that's your opinion. I dont think so. Spike and TP arent even in the same genre but Spike movies are not all that great. The cinematography is the same in every movie, he is a little heavy handed on the jazz score, his movies are often misogynistic and all his leading women are light skinned.

That's a lie... in School Days alone half the leading women were dark skin...his sister was dark skin in Do The Right Thing, She's Gotta Have It, Joi Lee in Mo Better Blues,Angella Basset in Malcom X,Alfre Woodard in Crooklyn, Theresa Randle in Girl 6...I can keep going but you're off on that one...though I do agree not all Spike Lee's movies are great...people overrate his shit alot
