Very True no Franchise mode and no imported Draft class from NCAA 13 which I was about to buy but now fuck it NCAA 13 is a stand alone game now

Word I haven't bought the game in a couple years was ready to get it when I saw Eli was a 97 but quickley became uninterested after finding out there's no franchise mode

@greenwood1921 @Jdilla26 @eyes low @gman82 connected careers is the same thing. You do connected careers as a coach (as opposed to doing it as a player) it is the same thing as franchise modes in the past. Only difference is, there's no fantasy drafts or editing players once you are in there.

anyone that says CC as a coach is the same thing as franchise mode really doesnt play franchise

from what i know, you can only control one coach in CC.

one coach

which means your gonna have to hope the other 31 teams know how to

scout

draft

resign

pick fa's to pick scheme

use the injured reserve option

sign players to replace those put on IR

if you leave all those things up to the cpu you will not have a franchise by year 3

@ me or dap me

All I do is play franchise. And yes I normally control all 32 teams because the CPU sucks...

but people that play that way are in the minority. The average casual fan doesn't even play franchise, let alone worry about micro managing every single aspect of the game.

And who's to say they didn't improve the logic of the computer this year? Especially with that being such a huge complaint?

ROFL @ the thought of EA improving GM logic

they been promising that since madden 07 and still didnt deliver

M13 was supposed to be the year they got franchise right and they jus scrapped it

i honestly think they realized they couldnt fix it so they did away with it.

CC Mode is not a step forward, its a step backwards.

IDK anyone who wants to play Franchise where the rest of the teams have cupcake rosters because they didnt know how to resign or draft

same thing wit last year when they implemented expanded rosters.

every cpu controlled team had fucked up rosters due to them cutting the wrong players in the preseason.

how the fuck you cut your starting qb but dont cut a kicker wit a 37 ovr ?

micromanaging isnt somethin u can do in franchise,

its somethin u must do

shit,

if u can only control one team then how in the world are you supposed to get the team your playing against to even use a proper playbook?

how do we know they didnt fix it????

ROFL

its EA,

thats how we know they didnt fix it

Everything you are talking about is not on the list of priorities for EA.

Like I said, people like you and me who micro manage everything and actually play more than a season in franchise are in the VAST minority of the overall madden players.

A lot more people only play Play Now w/ friends. A lot more play online. Some do franchise mode but get bored with it after a few weeks. Very few people even get to the point (year 3, 4 etc...) where the glaring holes in the computer's logic even begins to show.

Plus, it's not as bad as you make it seem.

EA boards

Operation Sports boards

Pastapadre

this is no little thing.

this is major.

alotta people have really said this can be it for them not buying the game
http://www.operationsports.com/forums/madden-nfl-football/555115-cc-feature-most-disappointment.html

and yeah

it is that bad fam

i havent played 1 team franchise since madden 06

cant trust the cpu for shit

they will drop a 90+ ovr qb and keep bruce gradkowski

they will fire a top rated coach then hire an unknown with a 0 ovr,

change schemes and keep using the same playbook

thats a big deal

in the words of jigga

i cant get wit that,lol

Lol Im on OS. And PP. So I understand the complaints. I have them!

But there is no statistic you can bring up that shows people on those boards are the majority. They aren't. The Madden forum never has more than 1000 people in it at any given time. Madden sells TENS OF MILLIONS of games each year.

Another factor that supports my theory? If the people that frequent sites like OS and those that micromanage in franchise WERE the majority, and them not buying the game mattered, EA would change the franchise mode to their liking.

But since they are the MINORITY, it is not a priority. The majority of people that play Madden aren't like the people on OS. Cuz it's not that serious.

never said we are the majority

the majority are still the people who play "play now" games and pick teams based off QB speed ratings

my point is,

FRANCHISE is gone and CCM is not a good replacement

CCM is basically superstar mode with twitter and the option to be a coach

Ok from what I saw from the video, doing is as a coach is the same shit as last year's franchise mode. But no editing players or fantasy draft or controlling more than 1 team. That's it.

When you are the coach and you play the game you still control all the players. It's not coach mode gaming.

more like 4 million but keep pulling numbers out your ass to support your claim though

So I exaggerated, but even if it was only 100,000 it would support my claim dumbass.

Read and comprehend before you post.

well actually, you had a nice juxtaposition in your post but i didnt even want to point that out...you could've made your point without the exaggerated sales figure tbh...even out of the 4M or so copies they sale, the guys who play franchise hardcore probably represent less than 5% or so...

Point out whatever lol. My side of the argument is not even really debatable. And yes, that was exactly my point.
