All of it regardless of service is wrong. However Tidal is just being 10 times dumber with their schemes.

1. They are not giving their numbers on total paid subs and free trial subs on a consistent basis leaving doubt on the size of the community

2. For Rihanna and Kanye they didn't release the numbers for weeks again adding to suspect behavior.

3. Now they send different numbers to Soundscan and Neilson adding to the current fiasco

I am pretty sure Apple music and Spotify on some fuck shit too. However they are more consistent with reporting their userbase quarterly and releasing everyone's numbers weekly.

How are the numbers fudged when they didn't even report them. That's why his second week sales 275k was counted as his first week.

Why does any of it matter tho??? Here's a news flash tho only ppl that care about Tidal numbers are the ppl that don't like Tidal so they aren't obligated to report to those ppl.... I would do the same thing why report numbers so the ppl who don't like you can bash you about your numbers??? You're basically better off just not reporting nothing if ppl are only curious so they can bash you ppl ain't caring about Tidal numbers to give props and anybody like yourself who say you are is a lie

I'm a Spotify dude through and through but someone clearly doesn't want Tidal to win. They've been fighting off bad press and leaks since day 1. Personally I think the app needs a lot of work but nonetheless I can't hate on artists trying to build something and own something. The powers that be clearly don't want that and I think that's a huge reason why there is a negative Tidal story out like damn near every month.

I've literally said that same thing from the beginning there has been a smear campaign on Tidal since Jay bought it and they really not happy now that he's turned it into a $200 million investment from Sprint.... I mean if Tidal came out and said "we have 3 million subs" what does that really do for anybody?? Nothing it'll just give ppl another reason to bash it so what's the point there really isn't one

The way I see it you can say, "10 million people streamed the album" and its up to the naysayers to prove you're lying. There's really no paper trail or receipts. Since there's no tangible product and no brick and mortar stores you can say anything and its impossible to tell if your lying.

Every thread i make about streming 4 JayHovas witnesses got pr spin and 3 or 4 people say "nobody cares. Even after that a few people still reply. The same topics are on every major hip hop site i am just creating a discussion on the reason.
