as of right now dude doesn't know for a fact if she just settling for the guy or not. For all we know she could be thinking "well if he tries to win me back i wont get married cuz i really wanna be with him" the worst she can say is no and cut you off which she probably would do anyways after she get married

its best to find out than to ponder your whole life about what if....selfish or not just because she getting married doesn't mean she really wants to be with the guy shes engaged to.

not only would this be playing into her hands if you are right, but he still takes the same size L if you're wrong. this is a lose lose that you just gave him. if he plays into her hands he'll be a feminized push over the rest of his life, if she says FOH then his pride and ego has a permanent scar on it .....
