Im not a conspiracy theorist person but I do have a healthy scepticism when it come to all this , the frequency of these terror threats around all the European elections (even the failed NY pressure cooker incident that happened right before the election here) seem to be purposefully done to influence public opinion , and it no longer takes multiple deaths to have cause and effect , and i think (a bit of conspiracy nut type) some how the Russians are involved in all of this maybe paying some untraceable groups to do some nefarious activity in Europe to break up the EU & NATO.

What i just dont understand is how weak EU intel/counter terrorism on terror plots seems to be. How do you have constant terrorist attacks in a country constantly and you still fail to monitor or up the security during important periods of time in your country.

I get that there is something wrong where if someone is identified as suspected extremist nothing gets done other than be put on a list. There needs to be a counter situation to prevent and help the people.

My whole thingg about this is, they always say they had been monitoring these perpetrators and they have had them on lists prior to the incident , yet they cant keep track of their activities and they always seem to have raids the day after an incident. Im not for a full surveillance state but if you have a history of dabbling in terrorism , you kinda forfeit your information privacy rights, IMO.

I believe it's supposed to be Europe wide it's definitely done this way in the UK innocent until proven guilty. So you can't react until they have done something that crosses the line. These people definitely have an issue that needs help the list system is not enough some sort of therapy mental illness support.

Sessions 'Amazed' Judge On 'An Island In The Pacific' Blocked Trump Travel Ban

Attorney General Jeff Sessions can’t believe that a federal judge based on “an island in the Pacific”—what the rest of us simply call Hawaii—was able to block President Donald Trump’s executive order barring immigrants from a handful of majority-Muslim countries.

“We are confident that the President will prevail on appeal and particularly in the Supreme Court, if not the Ninth Circuit,” Sessions said in a Wednesday night interview on “The Mark Levin” radio show, first flagged by CNN’s KFILE. “So this is a huge matter. I really am amazed that a judge sitting on an island in the Pacific can issue an order that stops the President of the United States from what appears to be clearly his statutory and Constitutional power.”

U.S. District Court Judge Derrick Watson in March blocked a revised version of the travel ban hours before it was set to go into effect, arguing that its primary purpose remained “suspending the entry of Muslims” rather than ensuring national security, as the Trump administration has insisted.

Watson pointed to Trump team staffers’ frequent calls for a “Muslim ban,” made both during the campaign and at the start of his administration, in blocking the order.

Federal officials who are located on the mainland shared Watson’s interpretation. Judge Theodore Chuang of Maryland also issued an injunction against the revised travel ban, and the Democratic attorneys general of Washington, New York, Oregon and Massachusetts also sued in an attempt to block the order.

Sessions finds readings of the executive order like Watson’s “weird.”

“I think our President, having seen some of these really weird interpretations of the executive orders that he’s put out, I think he’s more understanding now that we need judges who follow the law, not make law,” he told Levin.

“The judges don’t get to psychoanalyze the President to see if the order he issues is lawful. It’s either lawful or it’s not,” Sessions continued. “I think that it will be real important for America to have judges in the model of Judge [Neil] Gorsuch and [the late Supreme Court Justice Antonin] Scalia, people who serve under the law, under the Constitution, not above it, and they are faithful to the law. They honor it and don’t try to remake it as they’d like it to be.”

After Sessions Remark, DOJ Says Hawaii ‘Is, In Fact, An Island In The Pacific’

After Attorney General Jeff Sessions questioned the authority of a U.S. federal judge “sitting on an island in the Pacific” to block the President Donald Trump’s travel ban, the Justice Department pointed out that Sessions was right both on his geography and his argument for the ban’s legality.

“Hawaii is, in fact, an island in the Pacific – a beautiful one where the Attorney General’s granddaughter was born,” Justice Department spokesman Ian Prior said in a statement. “The point, however, is that there is a problem when a flawed opinion by a single judge can block the President’s lawful exercise of authority to keep the entire country safe.”

Sessions’ comment about U.S. District Court Judge Derrick Watson, who blocked a revised version of Trump’s executive order barring immigrants from six predominantly Muslim countries, left some critics wondering if the attorney general even considered Hawaii a state.

“Hey Jeff Sessions, this #IslandinthePacific has been the 50th state for going on 58 years. And we won’t succumb to your dog whistle politics,” Sen. Mazie Hirono (D-HI) said in a tweet.

Her fellow Democratic senator from the Aloha State, Brian Schatz, asked Sessions to “have some respect.”

Hawaii AG Slams Sessions' Comment On Judge On 'Island In The Pacific'

Hawaii state Attorney General Doug Chin on Thursday criticized Attorney General Jeff Sessions for remarking that it is amazing that a judge on “an island in the Pacific” could stop President Donald Trump’s travel ban.

“President Trump previously called a federal judge in California a so-called judge. Now U.S. Attorney General Sessions appears to dismiss a federal judge in Hawaii as just a judge sitting on an island in the Pacific,” Chin said in a statement. “Our Constitution created a separation of powers in the United States for a reason. Our federal courts, established under article III of the Constitution, are co-equal partners with Congress and the President. It is disappointing AG Sessions does not acknowledge that.”

During an interview on “The Mark Levin” radio show Wednesday, Sessions complained that a federal judge in Hawaii blocked Trump’s travel ban, appearing to question that judge’s authority.

“I really am amazed that a judge sitting on an island in the Pacific can issue an order that stops the President of the United States from what appears to be clearly his statutory and Constitutional power,” Sessions said.

Under fire from Hawaii Democrats for Sessions’ remarks, the Department of Justice on Thursday released a statement noting that Hawaii is an island in the Pacific.

Dems are just as fuckin stupid as Republicans. They don't wanna govern either. Looking for this "unicorn" candidate to endorse ain't gonna happen. It's unrealistic to believe that you're going to agree with someone 100% of the time. As long as the person you're backing has most of your interests in mind, then there shouldn't be an issue with you supporting them.

This is not a difficult mindset to achieve, and any person with a modicum of intellect understands it. All of these war cries and rallying will be moot if you can't even settle playground disputes. Smh. The whole political landscape needs to be blown up and we need a couple mulligans.

I mean, there's a reason Bernie won't align himself with Dems either. He understands that they're in damn near as bad a shape as the opposition, and all of the in-fighting leads to dick getting accomplished for the people you're supposedly representing.

The Dems have zero organization at this point. You have different factions battling for control like its Game of Thrones or something. The AARP wing put Pelosi back in power and still push Hillary onto the public. The Bernie wing is batshit crazy and the major reason why the nuclear option was used for the SC. Then you have the purists who don't want anyone who isn't pro-choice and full SJW to run for a Dem seat.

They need to stop worrying about elections in Kansas/GA, stop with the Trump/Russia BS, stop with the #resist crap, and develop an actual platform for 2018 and 2020. Then go out and find YOUNG and PRACTICAL candidates that can grow into potential stars. Say what you want about the Tea Party, but they did this very thing in 2010 and swept over the House.

The bold is the key word and facts have shown for generations that they are not actually the creme de la creme.

People keep believing that shit though and both sides get to keep playing the game and fucking everybody over.
