Smart because it would have showcased the contrast between ideologies of what's right and wrong. Trump would lower himself battling the helm when he should be preparing to face Hillary not the guy she beat.

I saw that episode too, and he was talking about how good Trump was at branding ppl ex. "Low energy Jeb" "Little Marco" "Lyin' Ted" "Crazy Bernie" "Crooked Hillary" and their names start to stick cause that's the only thing Trump is disciplined at on the campaign trail. So when bad news about Hillary comes out, the first thing that will come to people's minds will be "damn, Crooked Hillary."

fundamentally, the typical Dem voter will REFUSE to care about this (say the same about anything Trump does/Republican voters, if you like), so there's a limit to how much this will hurt her if there isn't an honest-to-god prosecution.

She's not a bad candidate she just lacks genuine charisma. She's really a stone cold politician down to the bone gristle and people see through that. Sanders was naive but his charisma was genuine. She'll prolly win by 5-9 points but even so she needs to change her narrative a bit. She really needs to play on women, minorities, Hispanics all of it and make it about unity and going forward. Not about just making her president just because Trump is bad. She has to make it about the people.

Whoever cosigned her to make that comment about putting Bill in charge of the economy was stupid af SMMFH ....

Someone with super high unfavorablity and low ratings on trustworthiness is not a bad candidate? A person with an FBI investigation still ongoing, with a scathing state department report clarifying that she blatantly lied about her email usage and didn't report the incident where she thought she got hacked isn't a bad candidate? A person who is struggling against Trump of all people in an AVERAGE of polls isn't a bad candidate? Sure ok................

Two things about the polls.............

-She's still battling Bernie Sanders in the primary, so his supporters are not gonna tell a pollster that they will be voting for her in November.

-Blacks and Hispanics are rarely contacted by pollsters.
