Captain America: Civil War To Have Controversial Ending, Pepper Potts Confirmed To Appear

Much like the comic book series of the same name, Captain America: Civil War's ending will reportedly be one that causes a lot of conversation and controversy.

"The consequences of Civil War will have an even more significant impact [than The Winter Soldier]," said co-director Joe Russo during an interview with Empire magazine, an early copy of which CBM got their hands on. "In Civil War, we're going to change the Marvel Cinematic Universe's psychology, and it's an extreme shift."

Gwyneth Paltrow will also return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe for the first time since Iron Man 3, suggesting that the film will deal some with the personal journey of Tony Stark, of which she's been a key part since the studio's first film in 2008.

Marvel’s “Captain America: Civil War” finds Steve Rogers leading the newly formed team of Avengers in their continued efforts to safeguard humanity. But after another incident involving the Avengers results in collateral damage, political pressure mounts to install a system of accountability, headed by a governing body to oversee and direct the team.
