The summer is dont but I just saw this thread.

Best Summer of my life.

My parents were living in Wayne NJ so my baby sister could go to school in Wayne cause the schools are so good. Issue was thay Wayne is expensive as fuck so they were living in probably the worst garden apartments in Wayne. Im talking ugly, with terrible neighbors.

So I had this plan in motion to buy them a house to suprise them.

Found a nice foreclosed house for a decent price, closed early July. Started construction on the house and redid the whole inside. House was on my moms way to work, so she drove by it every day seeing construction being done, not knowing I bought it.

The work on the house was finished last July, got all the inspections done and suprised with it. Parents moved in early July.

I didnt pay off the house, I dont got that much bread, but I threw a big enough down payment where their mortgage is cheaper than what they were paying for rent.

Legit happiest moment of my life.

My older brother was in a real bad situation. 31, broke, dead end job, his girl making all the money. Man he was depressed, losing his mind.

So I paid for him to take some IT classes, told him what to really focus on, and this past April got him a job at one of the old companies I worked for making 87k. He recently got a $3 raise too.

My brother getting that job made my parents happier than the house did.

Overall, the last bunch of months been great for my family.

My 17 month old learned how to walk and ever since he started watching him has been a breeze...just let him do shit from a distance and walking through the neighbourhood with him is amazing. When he was still learning how to walk I had to guide/hold him for weeks, eventhough Im still a young god my back/neck/shoulders were ready to throw in the towel everyday lmao...thank God for Salonpas.

Props to everyone. In the best shape of my life. Gig is great. Been making good money for a while feels good to not really think about can I afford this. Friday I'll be going out of the country for the 3rd time this year. In December I'm going to Guatemala for a week I want to go to Tikal and see the Mayan ruins. Just generally in a great space mentally too.

Today I weigh 180 pounds and on December 1st will be 2 years clean besides meds and weed.
