Props to everyone. In the best shape of my life. Gig is great. Been making good money for a while feels good to not really think about can I afford this. Friday I'll be going out of the country for the 3rd time this year. In December I'm going to Guatemala for a week I want to go to Tikal and see the Mayan ruins. Just generally in a great space mentally too.

Fucking A i want to go see the Mayan ruins so bad. My mom went on a cruise and got to go to Peru and see some ruins down there. Cant recall if they were Mayan, Inca, or Aztec though

got a new therapy/assessment job in marietta... the commute a beast but no more community in the hood cintract work as full time which is a blessing.

Best Summer of my life.

My parents were living in Wayne NJ so my baby sister could go to school in Wayne cause the schools are so good. Issue was thay Wayne is expensive as fuck so they were living in probably the worst garden apartments in Wayne. Im talking ugly, with terrible neighbors.

So I had this plan in motion to buy them a house to suprise them.

Found a nice foreclosed house for a decent price, closed early July. Started construction on the house and redid the whole inside. House was on my moms way to work, so she drove by it every day seeing construction being done, not knowing I bought it.

The work on the house was finished last July, got all the inspections done and suprised with it. Parents moved in early July.

I didnt pay off the house, I dont got that much bread, but I threw a big enough down payment where their mortgage is cheaper than what they were paying for rent.

Legit happiest moment of my life.

good shit. im goin thru thr same thing for my moms. she been living with me for a year while we knock down the old home and rebuild old her a new one... the feeling of happiness and joy on her eyes when we were picking out house plans and shit with the contractor had me so in my feelings...proud moment. hopefully demolition and rebuilding we be done by march

shit is harder than i thought. i been so unselfish for so long its hard for me to be selfish.

I never was an alcoholic but I got in 2 car crashes last year while under the influence and managed to avoid police both times but first one made my car insurance go up hella. Second time didn't report it to insurance agency so had to pay like $6k out of pocket in repairs. That and other nightmares made last year one of the worst of my life.

This year been laying low, getting my shit right. No more drinking and driving.. Drank the least I have in the past 5 years and when I do drink and go out I use uber/lyft.. been in the gym and getting my diet right.. investing back in the stock market.. Everything setting up perfect to have a great 2018.
