It's amazing how I didn't even diss Eminem, I simply took his own quote which he himself doesn't even take his sales seriously. Shit, Eminem doesn't even take his own awards seriously:

I agree for the most part. I would rate Relapse a 3 because I didn't feel any of the subject matter at all but for the most part I agree with you. Does his subject matter mean anything to you ? Does that make you like him more or less ? Is is because of his writing style ? Being that his two duds sold a crazy #, do you think that would've happened if he was a Black artist ? Do you feel peeps would've said he "Feel Off" because of Encore and Relapse ?

The thing about most white hip hop listeners is that we don't support shit thats wack. If you go to a gucci mane, wocka flocka, or OJ da juiceman concert, you wont see too many white people there. We tend to gravitate towards eminem, nas, wu-tang, talib kweli, and even dead prez which is ironic, somewhat. So, the fact that eminem is white helped, but to say its the sole reason, or main reason a lot fo white people like him is false. I know just as many white people who dislike eminem, than like him.

And Eminem is not selling the units he used to. "Encore" sales will still be higher than both "Relapse and Recovery" combined. The Racist tapes affecting his sales shouldn't be the issue. The Issue is him saying Racist stuff on tape and making a rap about it should be more of a problem than weither or not his sales were affected by it.

Well encore sold off eminem's success from the first 3 albums...mmlp and the eminem show were great albums, therefore people bought encore. Remember, not everyone bootlegs albums off the internet or goes onto hip hop sites to see what people are saying about a certain album.

Eminem's subject matter is one of the 2 or 3 most diversed in hip hop....out of mainstream artists at least. I can't even begin to list all the different topics he has covered in his music. His subject matter makes me like him more, as it is songs like til i collapse, sing for the moment, and going thru changes that I enjoy the most.

How did "Relaspe" win Grammy Rap album of the year last year? At some point you have to wonder if people are "Whitewashing" The History Books so that it says "Eminem" by every "BEST" rap catagory.
