They killed Roshi just to bring him back with Goku new healing powers?
And we all know Roshi using the mafuba or whatever was out of bounds according to original rules. This ep had a lot of "fuck it" from the writers.
Still enjoyed the fuck out of it. Roshi using his experience and taking enemies out with something other than sheer power was dope. Battles in this ep were eccentric and original compared to just being stronger and faster than the opponent. We got some different from the norm. Still not as good as last ep, but one of the stronger ones in this arc so far.
They even cut out a lot of the bystander exposition filler and just let them throw hands. Def watching this again.
I thought Roshi would have been gone since the ep title was literally sacrifice, and still dont get the story purpose of all that happening if he was just gonna pop up fresh like nothing happened. Its all good though.
Tien should get an episode like this, focused on him using his special techniques to beat superior fighters. Then he can sacrifice himself with the tri beam to get rid of somebody who could fuck with the big guns. He's gonna go out anyway so might as well take a nigga with him.
Best part of this ep was that we now three characters closer to the real tournament beginning. Roshi didnt fuck around at all. There's been way too much telling mothafuckas to jump off the stage, and not enough throwing they ass off before somebody can save them. The more of these cannon fodder ass niggas get eliminated the faster we see the heavyweights get to business.
