Vegeta was stronger than Goku before Goku died the first time... And He was stronger than Goku during the android saga... Goku being stronger than Vegeta during the Cell Games didn't make sense because he was weaker than Vegeta before they both went in and he left earlier than Vegeta did... Also, Vegeta went in there twice so there's no reason to be weaker than both Goku and Gohan...

When vegeta and trunks went into the chamber vegeta was stubborn and trained by himself, while goku and gohan trained together so naturally both gohan and goku surpassed

Bruh Vegeta surpassed Goku when he turned SS1 and he trained by himself... Goku trained with Piccolo and Gohan to prepare for the androids... And Goku was already 5xs stronger than Vegeta around that time and he still got surpassed... Plus Vegeta went in the time chamber twice and was still weaker than Goku??? I mean I know steel sharpens steel but Vegeta got trolled...

There were a lot of differences in F. Trunks timeline. There were difference to be held in just about every character.

For instance Piccolo never fused with Kami in F. Trunks timeline, Cell didn't exist yet, 17 & 18 were the only Androids, they were also weaker and more violent. Nobody knew the Androids were coming so everyone was weaker and ill-prepared. Goku might have been stronger in that timeline, it would make sense considering all the changes.
