This reminds me of how unimportant they started to make the whole super saiyan transformation. I mean at first it was some legendary thing, and Goku was only able to reach that level going through the emotional pain of Krillin dying, all the nameks dying, etc. but from then on they didn't really make it seem like they had to go through anything emotional. Vegeta reached it by training like a mofo, and Gohan reached it training with Goku. but then by the time Trunks and Goten were around it was like that shit was nothing. "Oh you can go super saiyan too?". I bet if the show continued they would've had newborn babies going super saiyan.
