I don't really understand your point. Goku is smart no doubt, but I'm not sure hire his win reflects poorly on Vegeta. Goku had knowledge and a powerful technique Vegeta didn't. He should be expected to do better under the circumstances. What Vegeta needs is the opportunity to learn some shit Goku doesn't. Goku can power up, teleport, blind people, etc... Vegetables can just fire off different projectiles and that's about it.

Vegeta surpassed Goku in that brief moment and made Beerus go to 10% and Beerus made lightwork of Ssj3 without being touched so he might have been using 5% of his power or less, SSJ4 is X10 of ssj3, so even 50% of power is not to push 70% Beerus. So automatically SSJB fusion would be stronger than a SSJ4 Fusion and then add the ability to Kaio-Ken like we saw in this episode. Kaio-Ken times 20 would be overkill for SSJ4 Gogeta.

I doubt that. This is the first time he agreed to be trained by someone else. This is due to his limited goal of being stronger than Kakarot.

While Kakarot wants to be have fun and keep getting stronger. That is the difference between them.

Vegeta should have realized this a while ago. Gohan was trained by people stronger than him, the result Gohan being stronger than Vegeta. Vegeta is too quick to hail himself as the greatest saiyan when he is one of the least skillfully sound characters.
