He as a child was stronger than Goku and Vegeta as a child

Stronger than both as a ssj and first to go ssj2 so at his rate he will always be stronger than them if he trains at the same rate

I feel like that's is the main difference between half breed saiyans and full breeds. Half breeds have the potential to get stronger than full breeds b/c of their human side but what they lack is the will for battle. That's always been the difference, Goten & Trunks as Gotenks alone should give you an idea of what they're capable of, same for SSJ2 and Mystic Gohan. Vegeta and Goku had the will to get stronger so they never slacked and always kept fighting, they got stronger because of that. The human aspect also helps the half breeds tap into emotions easier which is why Gohan, Trunks and others demonstrated great power when they were angry.

It makes no sense for half breeds to be stronger at all, humans are naturally weaker so mixing them with a stronger race should make them stronger but not stronger than the full breed

In the beginning of the show, saiyans were considered low class warriors as compared to other aliens, Bardock was like the strongest saiyan and had a power level of like 10,000. Goku and Vegeta were anomalies.

Yeah, saiyans were never all that strong. Frieza killed all them cuz of their boost in strength when their near death could put them over the top later in the future, not cuz of their stength at the time. And yeah, I literally just finished rewatching the show.

Saiyans were strong, just not the strongest warriors in the universe like they liked to claim. Remember, even in the case of planets with populations of warriors, it only took a handful of Saiyans to clear out the entire planet.

I like Brotherhood better

Envy being the half brother of Ed and Al in the 2002 series was an amazing twist,but in the reboot he is similar to biblical demon entity known as legion.

Selim basically being the homunculous Pride and King Bradley having an origin story

Mustang releasing his anger and rage on Envy once he admitted he killed his best friend

I fucks with both of them. I enjoyed Salim as Pride, he was the most hatable homunculus other than Envy. I love the 2002 one because I think it focuses more on character relationships. Brotherhood had alot of characters that I felt were just wastes of time but Father >>> Dante all day

I hated Dante..i guess the way she became the last minute main antagonist towards the end even though I suspected Bradley being the mastermind of the homunculus since episode 10.

Brotherhood had more humor in the fight scenes such as the Gorilla Chimera knocking Ed out by mistake while they were in that forest fighting Selim and Gluttony

Dante was a cool idea,being able to use the gate as a weapon was never really considered before she did it and I liked the immortality angle.

The animation and the fight scenes were awesome in Brotherhood, especially Bradley storming the fortress, thats one of my favorite scenes.

Give it time, you gotta remember it's a new generation of kids who aren't aware of DBZ or know anything about the characters. It's been over 20 years, he has to reintroduce the cast and then build it up. Also this gonna be a different show than DBZ, more comedic and family-oriented, not nearly as violent as DBZ but just as action-packed. What made DBZ so grand tho was that many of us were very young watching it, so our memories and nostalgia gonna put DBZ at a standard no show could ever top.

Yall gotta remember too, this isn't AT the struggling cartoonist trying to make it, this is AT with money and a legacy to preserve. He's a diff't man now, he's going to write things into DBS that yall might not agree with and other things a new legion of fans are going to cosign.

I sorta get that vibe that he is trying to bring back the OG Dragon Ball vibe that was around before the King Piccolo arc.Those episodes were more adventure/action/comedy based that I really like

Not really, genetics can be real complicated, and we don't know how human/Saiyan genes work with each other.

For example, whatever it is that gives Saiyan's their strength can be considered a dominant gene when it comes to human-Saiyan mating.

Basically, it could be an all or nothing deal, like your either have brown eyes, or you don't, there is no mixing of eye color.

Which would create an interesting situation when it comes to the children of half saiyans, they would be born with the battle strength of a saiyan, if their half saiyan parent passed on the dominant gene, or they would be an average human if they passed on the recessive one.
