Sweeney Todd was really good. Can't think of anything after that though.

never watched it, personal preference thing but i can't stand musicals.

I found them tolerable until i had to endure John Travolta in a fatsuit which put me off for life.

Lol only musical I enjoyed was across the universe

I'm not much into live action musicals either. I could count the ones I've liked on one hand. It was great though because it subverts the musical with a horror backdrop. That made it refreshing. It's about a revenge driven serial killer in an atmospheric and fucked up london. It fit Tim Burton like a glove.

Adam West, Burt Ward, Julie Newmar Star In New Batman Animated Film
http://comicbook.com/dc/2016/08/17/adam-west-burt-ward-julie-newmar-star-in-new-batman-animated-fil/

The stars of the classic Batman ’66 television series have returned for a brand new animated movie. Adam West, Burt Ward, and Julie Newmar will lend their voices to Batman: Return of the Caped Crusaders.

West, Ward, and Newmar will reprise their respective roles as Batman, Robin, and Catwoman. The trailer (released via EW) also teases appearances by other villains like the Joker, Riddler, and Penguin.

Warner Bros. Home Entertainment and DC Entertainment will release Batman: Return of the Caped Crusaders on Digital HD on Oct. 11, and on Blu-ray on Nov. 1.

The classic Batman television series ran from 1966 through 1969. The series saw West and Ward as the Dynamic Duo battling the colorful rogues of Gotham City, including Newmar's Catwoman. The series was previously made into a live action film.

The Batman television series defined the character for a generation, changing him from a pulp noir detective into something more playful and silly. The pop art sound effects and scenery chewing performances went even beyond that, becoming the go to imagery for superheroes in general within the mainstream.

Given its source material, and judging by the trailer, the tone of Batman: Return of the Caped Crusaders is the polar opposite of the most recent Batman animated feature, Batman: The Killing Joke. That film was based on the 1988 Alan Moore and Brian Bolland graphic novel, which is widely regarded as the darkest Batman story ever told. After that deep dive into the dark corners of the Batman's mythology, something lighter and more fun will be welcome change of pace.

Just finished suicide squad

It gets worse as the movie goes on imo

-I'll knock it to a 7/10 it's actually better than BVS to me

-Enchantress is wack

-Her brother and his design was wack

-Don't even know what they were trying to accomplish or why

-Deadshot/will was the standout and this movie woulda been a 6/10 without him

-Harley was okay but a bit annoying at times

-Killer croc, boomerang, and katana were forgettable

-Bar scene was forced

-3rd act was doo doo and I started to get bored right around the time joker came for Harley

-And contrary to what has been said, I like leto's joker and I think he got solid screentime(especially for the movie not being centered around him)

-lol @ slipknot

DC definitely needs a movie to match the hype going in though because they 0/2

The point is the fans like it. What makes it good is subjective. There's plenty of fans who think it's really good. Your opinion is just that.

And your argument it was a bad movie would hold more weight if it was a bust

But why you going back and forth over my opinion though since its subjective? And my original argument was the movie didn't match the hype from a quality standpoint but you saying since alot of fans saw it...

I'm just saying, you can't keep dissing a movie if their fans still love it and it keeps making money despite critics.

Lmao man shut yo ass up

Here we go again with the apologists. The consensus was that the shit wasn't that good. I thought it was okay, but not naive to the fact that most people didn't necessarily like it. Box office numbers, like music numbers, does not correlate to quality.

What consensus? Internet bloggers? What sense does it make to say "who cares if the movie is making money, it still isn't good." That's just hate. Cause a lot more will disagree with you.
