LOL I thought SS was gonna be at least a '15' certification judging by the trailers I seen...

I just pray WB don't fuck this up with unnecessary tinkering but going by recent news on test screenings I'm staying positive

SN: so Deadpool is the only comic book adaptation that has successfully nailed an R rating in recent times? I know both Tim Burton's Batman flicks had '15' ratings...

Sin City and The Watchmen

Kick Ass dunno if it was a major success, but successful enough to have a sequel.

Box office... like I stated all these comic book movies (mostly made this millennium) from both Marvel and DC been PG13 or 12. Deadpool made good money being rated 15

right.. 300 was dope. I think V For Vendetta counts too. We also had that 2008 Punisher movie and the 2012 Dredd movie. 30 Days of Night was also based on a comic.

Plenty of comic book based movies were R rated. Many were even based on stuff published by DC Comics (Road to Perdition, V for Vendetta, A History of Violence, Constantine).

Plus the Blade movies. As well as American Splendor, Ghost World and Tales from the Crypt. There have been a crapload of R rated comic book adaptations since the 70s.

I want to see a DC animated feature with guy gardener in it and make it r rated. Plenty of f bombs would e dropped.

Haha currently reading that Green Lanterns: Edge of Oblivion mini series and Guy is such a dick. Cool character though i guess.

Stewart

Jordan

Baz/Rayner

Gardner

^^My faves in order. Baz is new but hes bad ass and has a good origin imo. Rayner is also awesome because he mastered all the emotions. I didnt really know much about him until the New 52 did the New Guardians book (which was dope af. Was a team made up with each member of the corps) but he did awesome in that book becoming a white lantern then his story in Omega Men is dope af too.

Stewart is the lantern i grew up on (cartoons and such). Hal is a funny guy.
