He writes Justice League.

He is also returning to Aquaman sometime next year to write that rise of the seven seas story he's been projecting since he was last on that book.

I was just at the comic shop the other day just browsing looking at whats current. I saw there is Justice League 3000, Some Canadian Justice League, and Justice League of America. Im assuming he is writing JLA? god dammit im so far behind. Next payday im gonna start following the stories again. Whoever is doing the art for the current flash arc is doing a dope job. Or atleast the most recent issue w/ Reverse Flash in it.

He writes the book called Justice League. Bryan Hitch writes and pencils JLA. JL3K1 is a new school JLI book in spirit from the creators behind JLI in the 80's. The most popular 90's JLA artist does the art. JLU is a continuation of the JLA volume that ended after Forever Evil.

Emergency Awesome has a dope video on the history of the batcave.

Have they ever explained how the batcave gets built? You need alot of construction equipment, manpower, and work hours to build all that shit. And wouldn't that mean that anyone who worked on it would know where it is and easily figure out who Batman?

CW has just announced that it will be debuting the new trailer for Suicide Squad on January 19th during two new specials.

First up is DC's Legends Of Tomorrow: Their Time Is Now, beginning at 9PM ET, which will feature an in depth look at the origin stories of the heroes and villains behind the highly anticipated show Legends of Tomorrow. The special will include interviews, clips and more from executive producers Greg Berlanti, Marc Guggenheim, Andrew Kreisberg, Phil Klemmer & Wendy Mericle. For fans looking to get a better understanding of who the villainous Vandal Savage is, is surely going to want to tune in.

Then, at 9:30 PM ET, keep your televisions locked on CW as they'll premiere DC Films Presents: Dawn Of The Justice League which will give fans the inside look into WB's upcoming films that everyone has been waiting for. Hosted by Kevin Smith, the special will feature a look at Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice, the all-new trailer for Suicide Squad, and a sneak peek at the Wonder Woman film. WB & CW promise never-before-seen footage, interviews with stars like Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, and so much more.

Time Warner really taking advantage of it's assets like the CW to promote their DC IPs across all media. That shows you the type of commitment they have regarding all this. Good shit.

Rumor Early Batman V Superman Review is Extremely Positive

Batman-v-Superman-Trinity-Wonder-Woman-Ben-Affleck-Henry-Cavill-Gal-Gadot.jpg

In just under three months, Warner Bros. and DC Entertainment will get the ball rolling on their shared comic book movie universe (dubbed the DC Extended Universe). Zack Snyder’s highly-anticipated Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice serves as the real launching point for the franchise, but many fans are approaching the project with trepidation. After Snyder’s Superman reboot, Man of Steel, divided critics and audiences, just about every development with Batman V Superman has been a lightning storm for controversy.

It’s not an understatement to say there is a lot of pressure on Dawn of Justice to deliver and become a fan-favorite hit in March 2016. If the movie is a failure, the DCEU could end before it even begins. Everyone is curious to see how the movie will be received, and if a supposed leaked early review of Batman V Superman is any indication, DC fans can breathe a sigh of relief.

Heroic Hollywood caught wind of a post from Reddit user ViolatingNDA, who claimed to have attended a screening of the film on December 29, 2015 in Los Angeles. The reaction was overwhelmingly positive, punctuated by the hyperbolic statement that Batman V Superman will go down as the greatest comic book film since The Dark Knight. ViolatingNDA feels that even though the movie is long (reportedly 151 minutes), it flows nicely and everyone in the crowded cast plays a key role as a valuable piece to the larger puzzle. He/she alleges that there were 20-30 people in attendance at the screening and everyone left the theater pleased with the results.

ViolatingNDA spent a lot of time praising the performances, particularly Ben Affleck and Jesse Eisenberg. The former was considered the “standout” of the film and portrayed a frightening version of Batman that could come across as a villain to some viewers. It’s also alleged that Eisenberg steals every scene he’s in and will leave fans wanting more. The review makes a bold comparison to Heath Ledger’s Oscar-winning turn as the Joker, calling this Luthor “multi-layered” and “complex.” In addition, ViolatingNDA explains that the bemoaned Doomsday reveal in the third trailer is merely the “tip of the iceberg,” echoing statements made by members of the Dawn of Justice crew.

Before fans start getting excited, there are a lot of potential red flags here. Obviously, anybody online can say that they’ve seen a highly-anticipated film and make something up, so one has to wonder how valid this is. In the Reddit thread, ViolatingNDA posted an apparent screen shot of his confirmation to attend a “mystery screening” from WB, and HH‘s Umberto Gonzalez tweeted today that the screening did in fact take place. While the truth may never be fully revealed, there’s at least some evidence pointing towards the film being shown, lending credence to ViolatingNDA’s review. It’s important to keep those grains of salt handy, but test screenings do happen from time to time in the film industry.

Considering the Reddit post is legitimate, it still doesn’t mean Batman V Superman will be the critical darling ViolatingNDA says it will be. History has a horrible track record with test screening reactions serving as an indicator for the film’s overall quality. Disney boasted that Million Dollar Arm (starring Jon Hamm) scored higher than any movie from the Mouse House or WB before, only for the baseball drama to land softly at the box office. In contrast, Alfonso Cuarón’s Gravity was not exactly praised after its first showings, but it went on to win Best Director and six other Oscars. So nobody really knows what to expect until critics see the final product and start weighing in once a formal review embargo lifts. Until that happens with Batman V Superman, its ranking among superhero movies will remain a mystery.

The character?

Hal Jordan never acted like van wilder

Hal is a serious person

Not a wise ass

Every iteration of Hal in the past decade has been a wise ass but serious when shit got real. Sounds like you were expecting a white John Stewart.

They made hal jordan a wise ass?

Smmfh

Whats next, they gon make some well known superhero gay?!?

nah they rewrote him as a wise ass when that new 52 came around and they revamped the justice league. I have a lot of those Geoff johns green lantern books from 2005 and he was pretty stern.

that was probably because he had just come back to life after all the shit destroying coast city, being the spectre, etc. he was written a bit more serious because it fit the character.

That kimmel/doomsday trailer kinda toke the shine off this movie for me.

Still lookin forward to seein it tho...

DC'S TITANS SERIES IS DEAD AT TNT

There's been radio silence on TNT and Warner Bros.' Titans pilot for months, and TNT and TBS President Kevin Reilly confirmed that's because the project is no longer in development at the network.

Speaking at the 2016 winter Television Critics Association presentation, Reilly explained, "We just decided it wasn't quite where we wanted to go."

News of Titans broke in September 2014, shortly before Reilly took on his role as president. At the time it was reported that the live action Teen Titans adaptation would feature Nightwing/Dick Grayson, the former Robin, as a lead, with Starfire and Raven other members of the team. Barbara Gordon, Hawk and Dove were also supposed to be a part of the show's lineup.

Akiva Goldsman and Marc Haimes were slated to executive produce and co-write the project.

In May 2015, Reilly explained that some of the discussions going on behind the scenes on Titans involved "that the [TV] landscape right now is well-serviced on the superhero front. So what space is this going to inhabit?"

Much of Reilly's TCA presentation for TNT and TBS was about rebranding the networks with new original series. "We must have great appointment content in whatever we do," he said.

Probably cuz that cyborg movie maybe will be a Titans movie

Yea I'm thinking that too. DC will make it teen titans instead of his own movie but, may have a part in putting them together since he'll be in Justice League first.
