Yeah Oscar was on the George Lopez show a few years ago and said that it was not Floyd's fault that the Manny fight did not happen but mayweather will always catch the blame for it not happening .

Pac fought really smart last night took a few blows too think this was good for his confidence.

Bradley rematch next. Bradley might have more of a chance this time since Manny has slow. down more. I'd still favor Manny.

Bruh, his post oozes a homotional lack of knowledge. Your typical casual fan, in this case, a Pactard. Lol

You can't tell these niggas nothing bruh. Other than this site I don't even peek my head in a thread in regards to a May and Pac fight for 3 reasons.

1. Fights not going to happen.

2. Even if the fight happens, If/when Floyd wins, bias fans will have built in excuses i.e. Pac skills diminished, he not as aggressive as he use to be etc.

3. The "ducking" talk. Shit drives me crazy neither one is scared to fight the other. A certain promoter might not want the fight, but it very rare you see one boxer scared of another.

I was talking/arguing, lol, with someone who said whenever Floyd finally loses he will be exposed as never being that good in the first place. A lot of biased fans patiently waiting for that day lol.

LOL @ Floyd handpicking opponents... Soo were just gonna act like Pacman didn't fight Rios, weight drained DLH and Cotto, a drugged out Hatton.

Add David Diaz to the list... That was the worst one and boxing gave him a pass....

the only shot rios had was a hailmary punch or pacquiao getting tired

you could see it even at the end, when pacquiao was fucking rios up at the end of the last round and he backed off

cause he knew what happened last time he went to sleep

ppl are going to say now ok, whats good with mayweather, when they don't understand a goddamn thing about boxing

as a boxer, it makes me sick talkin to ppl afterwards saying oh pacquiao can destroy mayweather even before the losses or mayweather this or that, pacquiao can deal with fighters coming forward, no feints, no head movements, no knowledge of fighting backward, and limited boxing IQ of how to cut the ring off

pacquiao comes awkward but hes still comes off balance, open to counter punches, over steps his punches, and does not bring his punches back to his head

If you know how to avoid that straight left he has, you have a good chance at catching him

mayweather would make the shit into a glorified sparring match

This man is knowledgeable about pugilism

There's a reason why after every Pacquiao win, Mayweather's name gets brought up..

But after every Mayweather win, Pacquiao is never mentioned.

That's why I'm stopped posting on boxing forums in general a long time ago. I'll converse with my trainer and buddies I've met and trained with over the years but other than that I'm cool. Way too many people that wanna speak on boxing when they don't understand or appreciate the game. You saw how folks boo'd Rigondeaux and how casual fans called the fight boring when Rigondeaux foght a masterpiece. I loved that fight and watched it several times like I do with alot of fights.

Alot of these guys have never seen a gym inside. They don't know sh*t about boxing but wanna speak on it and think their opinion matters. People overhyped fights like that Gatti Ward trilogy when in fact from a strictly technical standpoint all those bouts were kinda weak. RIP to Gatti but look how wide his hooks were for instance. Real connaiseurs called him a paper champ back then (again no disrespect). His technique left alot to be desired but fans felt they could identify with him so they rode his nuts. Sh*t is like a popularity contest with Obvious racial undertones (yeah I'm going there IDGAF).

Fans overhyped Amir Khan, but if you analyze him his technique, footwork and boxing iq could and should be better for a pro at this stage of his career. I hope Virgil hunter works on those flaws.

Fans like sluggers/ brawlers and (blue collar white/ non-black) guys who they feel they can identify with. I hate to bring up the racial factor but we can't ignore the elephant in the room. PBF will never get his due from the general public till long after he stops competing. Same will happen with Broner BTW.

Pacman did his thing last night. I didn't expect an upset, but he outboxed Rios. I was happy for him, especially since the Tsunami hit his native country. My heart goes out to all these Philippinians. Great victory.

That was good to see. He actually fought smart stayed off the ropes and gave a good effort tying up rios on the inside. Also circling after throwing combinations was good to see.

I love an action fight like anybody else, but I keep that shit in perspective. Most fans equate blood and guts as that fighter being better boxer. I get just as excited seeing a fighter do something technically right or something subtle that took years of ring work to master. Co-sign the racial undertones if Ward or even Floyd was white or any other race they would be celebrated not hated in Floyds case and ignored in Wards.

In Wards case I don't even care about him being popular but even some hardcore boxing media types don't give him his props. Yeah it would be Ward mania if he was white...clean cut, Christian, family man, and an Olympic gold medalist...he would be shoved down our throats.

Co fuckin sign!

Ward is on a higher level than Bradley but c/s. They always want their great white hope. Countless examples like the riots that broke out after Jack Johnson beat a white man. Black HW fighters getting passed over for a titleshot back then till Joe Louis. In the 80's Larry Holmes vs. Cooney (sp.). Who still remembers how they hyped Tommy Morrison (who died recently) till Ray Mercer gave him that work?

Gatti Ward was massively overhyped by 'em as well and we see the same sh*t happening in mma. Jon Jones gets hated on for finishing opponents. Anderson Silva got hated on as well. You know how they hype GSP though.

It's the same thing everytime. Black fighters that are dominant and self assured are called arrogant and they'll try to donwplay their skills. When he loses they're like I told you so.

The racial undertones are clear.

@Muhannad X you see how fans/some media saying Bones Jones scared cause he want the fight pushed back a month smh
