ofcourse

pac and big set a new blueprint

set the bar for black rappers as far as sales, successful double albums (yes big dropped after his death, but it wud have sold, maybe not diamond)

and both were so powerful that it started a costal war ( as the media reported it)

deathrow was worth nearly a billion dollars, interscopes main money machine was 2pac,

pac and big both died before they peaked, 25 year olds, yet to mature, yet to see there millions, yet to really enjoy there reign

jayz nor nas culd touch them at the time, to think jay was older than the both of them..when both died, thats when nas and jay took no1 and no2 positions....its like two great HW's die and they hand the titles to niggas who aint earn the stripes yet,

nas dropped two classics while both were alive and he still wasnt gettin the luv that them two were gettin

both never reached there peak, each album showed signs of improvement, u cant be the complete rapper at 25, i feel by 30 they wud have got to the pinnacle, with some new life experience behind them.

it would be utterly stupid to think they would have anything else to prove by now.....they left out with highly regarded albums at the ages of 25-24....that's enough said

im just sayin picture if pac didnt die 1st how long would biggie had last'd? cuz when pac died he was really startin a movement 2 run biggie & bad boy outta hiphop wit da whole DEATHROWEAST & 1NATION project i dont think big & bad boy wouldnt have last;d long after tupac got dun wit them..,,.but who knowz tho they r both dead i just wish pac aint die 1st cuz that shit wouldve been krazy 2 c wat wouldve happen wit big cuz tupac was already a goat/legend da day he got down wit DEATHROW!

Dunno about BIG, two classic albums don't make you a GOAT (see Lupe). But Pac already had 3 classics while he was still alive (MATW, AEOM, 7DT), and his influence was crazy. BIG, maybe, I think so. Pac, definitely.

Actually, he was gonna work with BIG. He pretty much squashed it with everyone he had beef with before he passed.

Is this a trick question??? There is not another two rappers EVER that had so much impact at such an early age. People act like these dudes started being considered legendary after they died.

If they would've lived why wouldn't they be the GOAT's they was being considered that while living. I mean eventually there shine would din a little like everyone but still they would be the blueprint for all the other rappers in the game like they are now. Big had a record company started with Un Pac had Deathrow East starting so that alone would have kept there greatness on another plateau.

add to that

One Nation album with Wu, Kane, Nas, Sniff n Wessun, Bone Thugz, Redman, Scarface, Run DMC, etc.... to name but a few

and the Commission album with Jay, Lox, Cam, Busta, Method etc...

and you have just about every relevant rapper in the game represented in two albums

These two had the respect of ALL their fellow rappers at an early age and would work with ANYBODY despite if they were major or not.

But what confuses me is, it's on record that Pac squashed it with Nas and Big. Why would he diss them there? And I notice Suge standing there... interesting. Also, wasn't Pac damn near broke when he died?

they were the rulers of the new skool....and at the time were looking out for all the up and coming rappers and even the old skool

its crazy how they came up together and then separated, but went onto get equal respect from there peers,

had they had a chance to drop those collab albums i think that wud have deaded all the east west shit and pushed it to another phase.....missed out on two classics

Word. What good was gonna come out of Pac shutting down another black owned label? May as well have worked with Big, who wanted to leave Bad Boy anyway.

His mother said they talked it out, on a few documentaries. I dunno, I guess I like to hear hearsay from the horse's mouth. Shit just don't add up, that's all I'm sayin. Pac was way too smart to drag that "beef" out any further. Hell, even Jay and Nas squashed it, and made some dope records together.
